Discovered your TH-cam channel recently and really love your simple and easy style. No sales pitch. I got accepted to Journey Mediavine today, so super excited. Can you make a video on the process of moving from adsense or ezoic to Journey. Thanks in advance.
I got accepted yesterday - went live today! I moved from Adsense and it was easy. I just disabled autoads and removed the Adsense script from my ads.txt file via the AdvancedAds plugin. After that the Grow plugin auto inserted their scripts and it went live within minutes.
Really interesting and thanks for sharing your process. I'm in health and fitness and so a lot of my blog posts are very writing heavy, but I have some ideas that I could maybe test out some more image heavy posts with affiliate links to see how those do. I was hoping to apply for Mediavine this year, but I lost 70% of my traffic with the recent google update so trying to claw some of that back by focusing on Pinterest. But also TH-cam is one of my main income sources now, so feels a little like I'm juggling all the different things to make up for the google hit, and Medium is also now in the toilet. Will look forward to your Pinterest video.
You got this! Try not to focus too much on SEO keywords and focus on what's doing well on Pinterest. That's great TH-cam is your main income source, I'm working on making a good income source for me too! You're right about juggling all the things to try to gain traffic but keep your eye on Pinterest and try my Ultimate Affiliate Post Workflow masterclass to help you create Pinterest traffic to gain income!
Hi Emma, what are you doing so far when it comes to EEAT? Experience, Expertise, Authority and trust. And do you also implement schema on your site? By the way, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of traffic
Where do you set your ads? Low, medium, optimal, or high? I have mine set to optimal, but I recently had a complaint that someone had trouble even getting through my article because of all the ads. This made me sad because I don't want to be one of "those sites."
Hi, You mentioned that your RPM was around $25, but I noticed that with 23k sessions, your earnings were only $354. Isn't that lower than expected? Based on your RPM, you should be earning around $575. Is it possible that Grow/Journey Analytics calculated it differently from GA4? I might be mistaken.
I was waiting to hear some reviews for journey, good to hear some positive first thoughts! Would be interested to hear how this compares to your usual Adsense income. Still struggling to embed Pinterest images to a blog correctly, the layout is terrible for some reason. Still stops me creating posts in your style
@elna-twinsmommy how long did it take you to get the 10k views? Do you remember how many articles? Thanks! I'm just getting an idea of how long it might take me ☺️
Two questions: Do you know what the pay rate difference between Mediavine and Mediavine Journey are? How are you optimizing all of those image heavy posts?
Not sure what the differences are but they suppose to be lower for Mediavine Journey since the entry point is lowered too. For the images, in that particular post I used Pins so I embedded them. Here's how to do that: th-cam.com/video/J37eN71nBEM/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the video! I'm with Monumetric but I think earning potential is better with Journey. I'm also just starting out with Pinterest and did have a question about the pins you embed in your listicle posts because I'm a little confused. So they are other people's pins and have affiliate links within them. Doesn't this defeat the purpose if you're sending them to someone else's pin to make purchases? Or am I missing something?
Well I guess if a person really liked the pin they can click on it and go to that blog but I'm still gaining impressions on that blog which helps with my Mediavine journey income. The traffic is stable too so it hasn't really affected that either. As for affiliate marketing, I make sure to focus on the product and not always share a pin showing that product but sometimes I do.
Hey great video! I just got invited to journey too! Do you just embed photos from Pinterest and/or Instagram? Do you need to get permission from every individual photo owner?
Yes I only embed from Pinterest and don't need permission as it's hosted on Pinterest (the image on the link. I don't like take a screenshot and then attribute it. That's wrong). For IG you do need permission.

I'm glad now those Mediavine Journey reviews are coming out. I was really interested to know if it's good or not.
Yes for sure! I'm happy that the income is still going up and up!

@@elna-twinsmommy that's such a great tip. Going to work on that and will check out your affiliate workflow.

Love this! I just joined too and it hasn’t been a full month but my rpm is not great! It’s hovering around $10 so I’m hoping to get this up somehow 😅
Cool! Yea your RPM will adjust over time. Mine has gone up but not sure if it will stay or not! Congrats!
How you managed to show PInterest PIN IT button on each of your images? Is it some plugin?
I have a problem with mediavine journey, i got approved in October 29 nad today November 7 and ads not showing on my site
Do you have an ad blocker installed? If so, disable it and try that!

I haven't changed how many ads are placed on my site. So whatever Mediavine Journey has for default is what I did.

I do have a video on getting and using Pin images but I think my hubby has coded something for all my sites to make it work? Not sure...
Do you think it's worth adding Google Adsense or Ezoic before getting the 10k views for journey? Are you running ads on Pinterest at all? Thanks!
Sure if you want. I never have but if it does take a long time to get to 10k pageviews then it's worth it!
@elna-twinsmommy how long did it take you to get the 10k views? Do you remember how many articles? Thanks! I'm just getting an idea of how long it might take me ☺️
I was waiting for this video. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
So good to hear your website is doing so well despite the Google hit. Elna, can I ask does the personal development niche go well on Pinterest?
Thanks so much! You know, I'll do a video on finding topics on Pinterest using a cool free tool I found!

Is mediavije journey social traffic like Pinterest or facebook premium traffic?
Mediavine Journey is an ad platform. They place ads on your blog and you earn from impressions.
yesterday i got invited to mediavine journey, hoping similar results
Good luck! How exciting!
How do people get invited?
@@salmamaski4503 You have to apply first to be invited.
