Cafe Kitsune seems like the one to beat. I would recommend Deli Robuchon, Maison Puget ( you missed it out in Portobello) and Patisserie Saint Anne. Is pain au chocolate any good in Belgium.
I realised I missed Puget, will try to go back, I doubt is gonna be better than Layla though, Saint Anne on the todo list yes. Def not as good as in France.

You should try Maison Francois. You can get a pain au chocolat to take away in the deli under the restaurant.
