Potato harvesting with David Brown 990 and Ransomes potato hoover

lifting a few rows of potato's on the allotment with my recently purchase Ransomes potato lifter working well apart from a bit of slippage on the rear cleaning trace,soon be put right! working behind my 1967 David Brown 990 Selectamatic which has just been fully restored.

Takes me back to when farming was farming and people weren't afraid of getting their hands dirty and doing a day's work. Love those days and your old David Brown.

I have a DB 990 here in Northern Finland (Lappland), but it is made into forestry tractor in Sweden. It is from 1967 also. Huge amount of iron in it. And a carriage of 13 cubic metres... starts well and tractor is of high quality.

I have a 1967 990 as well here in upstate NY. Not as pretty but still quite nice and solid.

that's a mighty machine their Cameron im sure my potato spinner could do a better job than that! tell you what I will have to bring the mighty ford up next year and have a race ;) hope your getting better!
