hii could u post a video for beginners of everything u should know if u wanna start crocheting? like all the different stitches and different yarn or hooks? thanks!!
Thanks for this tutorial!! I just have advice for anyone making it, if you in the first row start with 8 dc instead of 10 dc (before starting the repetition) the row will also end with 8 dc instead of 6 and the top will be symmetrical the whole way!!
but why would this change anything i’m curious? my problem is that in the first row i keep ending with space for an extra sc (so i keep ending with space for 7 sc instead of 6) and i did everything correctly. i’ve tried this row three times already!
i love your tutorials i am in the middle of doing this one. i have already done did striped shorts tutorial and twist top tutorial. you are so good at explaining exactly how to do everything without it being complicated. definitely keep it up because your work is always so beautiful 💗
Just made this and it’s SOOOOOOO pretty!!!! Took my about 3 days, but I’m a very slow crocheter, and have been pretty busy. I’d say it took me about 4 hours as a SLOW crocheter. I would imagine others would find it much easier and take even less time! I thought the instructions were very thorough, and unlike other tutorials, I was able to see exactly where I should be placing my stitches which was very helpful. Will definitely be making these in other colors!!
your tutorials are always so clear and i cant wait to try this flower pattern. i tried following a similar flower pattern by someone else and they were SO unclear i had no idea what i was doing so THANK YOU for this queen
tip for everyone that i had to find out, on row 2, skip the first stitch that the chain 2 is coming out of or you'll end up with an extra stitch in the end of the row amazing tutorial nonetheless i received tons of compliments!

thank you so much, the instructions were super easy to follow as a beginner - finished mine today and although I made a few mistakes it came out super cute!!
The very first tutorial I watched was yours. And now, when I returned to your channel, I saw this video, of course, nothing worked out on the first try, but I knew that I could connect it, so I came back. Thanks for the videos you make) you have a nice voice, so it was easy to listen to and watch the tutorial. Thank you very much ❤️
I LOVE IT!! I'm a beginner and wanted to crochet my first top and with this tutorial it was soo easy and your explanations were really clear! thank you 🫶🏻
just finished making this top easy-to-follow video and steps. I used heavy-weight yarn and did the d cup one with two rows of 4 flowers. it was backless and a bit longer. so the heavy yarn worked out well for my body size I love it it came out great and did it in purple. I plan on doing a cropped one in yellow.
I know you commented awhile ago but were the two rows of flowers too long? I’m also using weight 4 yarn so my first row seems a bit longer than hers but I’m worried 2 may be too long. I almost need an in between like 1 1/2!
Omg THANK YOU so much for this!! This is the first top I’ve ever made. I started crocheting a few months ago. Finished this in a couple of hours. I never thought I would be able to make this but I DID IT! It fits perfectly and it’s so pretty. I’m so happy actually lol. 🩵
I finished my first row and at the end of row 2 instead of 6 stitches I had room for another 16 but when I started row 3 my increases so to speak didn’t meet at the holes am I doing something wrong?
Hii, thank you for the tutorial! For the cups, are we doing hdc into the stitches (so front and back loop) or back loop only? It's a bit hard for me to see the angle. Thanks again!
great tutorial! just one note, at the begining after making the cups, u start making the actual top. For beginners its easyer to make the amout of chains that u need and then start with the dc. I did it that way and it worked perfectly
thank you SO MUCH! I did it and I loved it! You were so amazing to explain, and so sweet! I really loved your video, pattern, and Im so happy that I was able to do that because of your tutorial (Im new at crochet so it was my first work). THANKS! You're amazing.
love this pattern! i’m on row 10 right now and unsure if i should continue because it’s so heavy 😭 was going to use this during the summer but because of how weighty and thick it ended up i’m not too sure anymore…
hello! What can you recommend I do if the back is a lot longer and bigger than intended :/ Anyway to make adjust it without frogging to make it fitter?
Ughhh I’m so confused. I did a 96 foundation chain and I have the four sets of holes on round 2 but at the end I have a full 16dc and 2 leftover spaces???
Thanks for the great tutorial. I'm having trouble finding the yarn suggested (since I want it delivered quickly). Do you have an amazon yarn recommendation? Thanks!
I'ma be honest this was very confusing everything was good until row 7 I couldn't see where you were inserting your stitch into and I just got frustrated and decided to leave the whole project maybe a written pattern or a closer shot would have helped
Hi, after the 96 hdc, we chain 2 and turn, does the chain 2 count as a stitch. And if it does, do i make 9 dc instead. And also at the end i keep getting 7 stitches.
yes, the chain 2 counts as your first dc. so you do 9 more double crochets. and just make sure you’ve counted everything correctly and are paying attention to what I do, if you have it correct you should only have 6 at the end!
are you going into the very first stitch where you made the chain? because since it is counting as a stitch you don’t go into that with a double crochet as that would be doing two stitches into one
Hii tysm for this tutorial, it’s really clear.. just one problem. I’m connecting everything together and realised that my cups are bigger than the foundation flower thing so the cups don’t fit. That means I have to redo the foundation right ?
I made this top, great tutorial for the bottom part. I did a B cup, which is what I am, and it was wayyyyyyyy to small. It didn’t even look right with the top at all, proportions were off. Not sure if I needed to make a c or d cup or something but I’m following a different tutorial for the cup size. Idk if I did something wrong or what 😂 Just very booby everywhere, especially the sides
Cup size is relative to the band (for example, 32C, 34B and 36A are all the same cup with different band lengths), so Anna's tutorial only applies to a certain band size. You could just do more rows around it, and hold it up to yourself until you feel like it fits how you want it to.
Had the same problem! so I finished my top and I just connected everything and had 8-9 stitches of the cups hanging on each of the sides. And when it came to the strap part, I did the straps for the back at the bottom of the cups and not the body part. I then added another pair of straps to the middle of the body part and it looks good! Sure, the cups are visibly larger but it doesn’t look weird, because it’s only a small peace on each side. The sides of the body part aren’t touching like her version, but imo it doesn’t matter. And I also connected the bottom part of the cups, like 14-15 stitches, with slip stitches, working towards the neck. because I wasn’t comfortable with the depth of the neckline and it still looks good! Hope my explanation was okay to understand 😅😅
Hi! Im stuck on making the cups! I need to make size A cup, the suggested rows for the A cup were way too small so I continued making rows, but my cup is very rounded on the bottom side and the cup itself is shorter and wide rather than straight on the bottom and the cup itself being taller. is this okay? should I continue with rows like this or did i do something wrong? Thanks!!!
@@anna-greene I just realized it's backless. How can I do this top without showing my back? I'm sorry I can't explain it clearly, English is not my first language 😅
@@secret5567 i also have the same problem lol i made it and parents said it was too revealing so im making another flower panel and slip stitching it to make a full top

Thanks for this tutorial!! I just have advice for anyone making it, if you in the first row start with 8 dc instead of 10 dc (before starting the repetition) the row will also end with 8 dc instead of 6 and the top will be symmetrical the whole way!!
Does that change anything else for the rest of the pattern? Or do we just continue following like normal?
I just tried this, and for the 5th row, I ran out of room for the first hole
but why would this change anything i’m curious? my problem is that in the first row i keep ending with space for an extra sc (so i keep ending with space for 7 sc instead of 6) and i did everything correctly. i’ve tried this row three times already!
So do you have to do 8dc and then chain 2 and 4dc again chain two again and 8dc again or 10?

you could! you’ll just chain and do the correct number of double crochets into the chains. just make sure you do the chains nice and loose
will i have to chain in multiples of 24 again?

I disagree, that was clear to me
I was worried about row 7 after seeing this comment but it was pretty straightforward imo
idk it was pretty easy and straightforward to me 💀
maybe try to count your 5 sc and just do a sc into the 2,3,4 one
Hi, after the 96 hdc, we chain 2 and turn, does the chain 2 count as a stitch. And if it does, do i make 9 dc instead.
And also at the end i keep getting 7 stitches.
yes, the chain 2 counts as your first dc. so you do 9 more double crochets. and just make sure you’ve counted everything correctly and are paying attention to what I do, if you have it correct you should only have 6 at the end!
@anna-greene I'm sorry if this is bothersome, but I redid it and I'm still getting 7 at the end. Did you perhaps skip one after chaining 2
are you going into the very first stitch where you made the chain? because since it is counting as a stitch you don’t go into that with a double crochet as that would be doing two stitches into one
can’t wait to make this!
I have this exact same yarn but I have yet to use it so this is perfect! Love your patterns 😊💕

I think it needs to be a (multiple of 24) +4 so you can end the row with the gap tho complete a flower(+thegaps around it)

Hi, I have the same issue and I wonder I by doing this it won’t be baggy on the side of the cups if it’s not held by the bottom base ?

what should i do if the flower pattern piece has fewer stitches than the cups together piece?
