I think there's a degree of respectability that you, unlike many other people who are against the lolicon wave, have in regards to this. "I'm not with it, but if that's your thing, knock yourselves out". And undoutedly, there are plenty of people on the lolicon side of the debate that are awful about it, and harrass people for not liking it. That's not ok. However I think you're ignoring the very loud other side, the side that does things that are just as bad, and sometimes even worse, than the other. The side that harrass people, call them out, try to "cancel" them simply because of things like this. I can't say for sure who you're talking about in this clip but I have a pretty good idea, and my bet is that it's Hunney. Hunney is a great streamer, and a funny person, absolutely nothing wrong with her. And yet she got such an incredible amount of hate, harrassment, etc etc, even from others in her own community simply from this model change. That, to me, is absolutely ridiculous, and entirely uncalled for. Luckily in her streams she seems fine and has seemed to weather the storm just fine, most likely by just ignoring all of the BS (really that's the best way to do it) but it still really bothers me that something like this is happening in the first place. I think if more people took your stance of ignoring it if you don't like it, instead of all these other people who feel the need to go on these insane witch hunts because of a vtuber model change, then I wouldn't have as much of an issue with that side as I do, but as it stands, I have a lot of enmity towards that side who cancel others for the most ridiculous reasons. Many people forget the power of words, and many people turning against you can really, seriously hurt. Doesn't matter if it's over the internet. TLDR; I respect that you're not the type of person to actively seek out and bully/harrass those who like things you don't, but because of your stance and maybe slight bias, I think you fail to see the other, very large dark spot that is present on the other side, and honestly the likes of which I've seen a lot more harrassment from than the other.
i'ma keep it a stack with you gang, in my head when i was talking about it on stream, my saying "the people who start slinging out pedo accusations" was my way of addressing the psycho's on the other side. i did make mention of the other side later on in that stream and have done so before in previous streams where lolicon stuff came up as a conversation topic. also the mfs on the other side that actually go around causing strife over loli shit have WAY too much time on their hands and they ain't no better. i've seen more harassment from pro-loli people but that's more from seeing it over the many years i've been on the internet in general compared to twitter. appreciate the reasonable comment tho and yeah i was talking about hunney but i couldn't recall the name in the moment.
@@Fhashyl And thank you as well for the reasonable response. I'm the type of guy who's also into loli stuff, but I hate seeing harassment from either side. Perhaps it's due to our different sides that we both fixate more on one side than the other, which is why I say I see more from the other side, and you vice versa. I appreciate you being able to see that side as well, instead of ignoring it as so many others do. And I appreciate that you don't hate others because they like different things. Something that is luckily less common today than it ever has been in human history, but is still very, very common in our world today.
