Maybe I misunderstood the update, but my assumption was it just gave you a visual marker to show who would die from ult. I didn't realize it was actually executing mechanic.
@@regulardudeguy literally the only difference is how the damage is calculated %remaining health as opposed to flat damage, and given the right numbers they could literally be equal
Tbh when I heard about this change I was expecting it to only execute a single person who is in a tiny circle above sobek, bc I was thinking it would be cool to give him an animation where he comes up beneath the god and chomps them, kinda like like Jaws movie poster if that helps gives you an idea what I was thinking.
I thought we were getting ride of the roles system. Allowing gods to be more flexible to roles. Makes him way more versatile as a god instead of slap slap pluck slow.
This Thana was complaining so much yet wasn't makin the plays he needed to get the kills xD Pride cometh before the fall. Not like Anhur was doing anything either
Ive always had an issue with sobek and his ult because you are so easily killed at times and gaining armor never helps in late game when you can get killed before it even finishes.

So a marker that tells you when your ult executes (thats exactly what an execute does)
@Aceluffyw there's a difference between simply doing damage and an execute. That's what op is talking about.

I think the execute is good it makes him more dangerous

Because there's not such a thing as a "guardian" in the game
Because Death is the ultimate form of CC
The thing about smite 2 is even your “support” Gods can be build as a hybrid. Between support and damage

An AoE execute that gives permanent HP increase for every enemy that dies to the ultimate is a little overpowered.
It's not alot of health honestly
If it is then quins will either abuse him or they’ll nerf it most likely
The execute seems to be too high in my test. But you can still aegis it just like thanatos but you can see it coming.
@@chrishazzard9922 It goes up to 25% hp.. that's quite a bit in my opinion.
