Not that impractical given the size. Maybe it would be better to have it at one of the sides, but its definitely better than the knob or than having it in front when it comes down to footprint on the desk.
should've kept it to the side of the keyboard, I got their falchion ace and I find the vertical pad right next to Shift and Caps to be very useful, convenient placing as well, don't even need to move my hand too much
And the same Asus fucks up the letter markings on some of its Vivobooks by making them the same colour as the rest of the keyboard. The letters are invisible if you go slightly off angle and there's no included backlight.
Nah those are two different company's in my eyes, one sells overpriced gamer gear and has everyone under the illusion that it's the best in the market when it's far from it and the other sells shit products that don't work properly most of the time.
@@ruripapi it's a 60% keyboard. Those cost around $120. The NuPhy Air60 V2 is at around $95 + shipping right now for example and that's probably better than this thing.
The placement of the slider seems so dumb. They should've placed it at the left or even right side of the keyboard, where your hands would naturally reach them without being in the way. It being behind the keyboard, makes it so you have to reach over the keyboard and so can't be laid back, for example.
The Falchion Ace had it on the left hand side, not sure why they moved it. It might prevent accidental touches though, I tend to rest my fingers along the left edge of the keyboard at times...
I used to have a meshy keycap keyboard like this, they’re soft and rubbery and are very satisfying and smooth yes, but they’re also really easy to accidentally press down if you’re putting your fingers on them, I remember my wrist getting pain using it because I had to hover my fingers OVER the keys otherwise i’d accidentally press abilities or walk. They’re not for gaming i’d say personally but If you’re just using it for work or something they are actually very nice 👍🏼
I've had the Rog Azoth for about 6 months.. Fantastic keyboard, got it new for 180$. I dislike Armourey Crate but I already had to have it for my motherboard.
I wish there were more low profile keyboards, cuz typing on these custom high profile ones for a long time doesn't feel good. I need more thocky low profiles tho
waiting for somebody to make a keyboard close to this size but with macro keys, media keys and a dedicate volume wheel. COME ON, SOMEBODY, YOU CAN DO IT!
Honestly, if the slide were to have any use I think I would prefer it on the sides rather than reaching over my keyboard to use it. Don't have the product in hand, but through the video, it looks hella awkward.
Opticals are technically the best switches you can get because of the insanely good response time but id rather have normal mech switches because of how customizable they are (using an optical kb right now)

yep, their warranties are a joke.
