for a singleplayer game like this where im just tryin to explore and enjoy a good story on the go, i think its acceptable. With some frame generation added, this is going to hit that sweet spot tho
You can also use nis with sharpening at 5 it'll look better then the 50% render scale taa option. To use nis you need to go into game properties and force a resolution below 1280 by 800p like 800p by 500p as an example.
@GameTechPlanet yeah steam deck HQ recommended using NIS if you do try it out can you put up a short or other quick video showing if it works better please. I can get the premium edition for a good price for the holidays.
im running it Maxed except path tracing and streamed to my OLED deck, it is s great experience, i dont think id even try to run this on my deck natively.
Not sure but proton experimental is probably fine but you need to be on beta update branch unless you like mountain dew green eyes. Also use nis with level 5 sharpening it looks better then the 50% render scale option. To use nis you need to go into game properties and force a resolution lower than native like 800 by 500 as an example.
Too bad the game has non-optional ray tracing. I'm sure it would perform substantially better without it. Here's hoping theyll continue to update the games performance for lower end machines.
It looks better using Nvidia image scaling. To use it on deck you need to force a lower resolution in Gane property like 800 by 500 as an example. It looks more sharp not as soft as the option he used especially on texts will be sharper with nis.
As someone who has played this at 120 FPS locked on a 4k OLED this is puke inducing. I can't tolerate anything below 60 FPS for a fast paced action game anymore.
The green laser eyes
After playing through the entirety of Jedi Survivor on the Steam Deck, this looks great to me

This looks like a Nintendo DS game and I love it

Great comment thanks. Will try it out. I know the fsr3 and framegen update is in the way as well

Good enough for me.

Oh god it looks so awful 😀

@@mpauls85 as someone who had to play Witcher 3 on a switch at 30fps, sounds like a 1st-world-gamer problem
Wow arent you just something lmao
