Looks very....... Congested. We're there the 26th and 27th. Guessing this was green group? We're going to be the same, intermediate seems to fill up super quick.
+XZINO911X I believe my bike comes with one from the factory but I'm not sure. The first time I had it on the track it was pretty scary, at TMP track I drop down two gears before turn 3 and the back end would step out big if I didn't blip perfectly. After that day I flashed my ECU to reduce a TON of the engine braking, so on the downshifts it doesn't make my back tire step out at all and makes it super smooth, even with my -2/+4 gearing that I'm running in this video. I don't bother blipping at all now :) What model bike do you have?
toysareforboys I see.. I have a gsxr 750 k4, looking forward to try calabogie this summer, it's pretty far away from montreal, QC, but judging from your video it's worth it!
+XZINO911X Nice! You will love Calabogie! I have another video on my channel where I crashed, and if you watch the long one you can see a couple good full laps of this track. And it looks like they have a tuning kit for your bike as well, with engine braking adjustments :) ftecu.com/shop/04-05-gsxr-750-denso-data-link-ecu-flashing-kits/
+Nate Stewart Yep! But they moved a lot of people from the "red" group (the fastest) down to yellow group (intermediate) so when I asked to move up to yellow group it was all full :(
wow so awesome to watch you riding.
you do it so smooth mate! :D

justintime30 Yep, green group, not the right group for an R1 I guess :( Good luck on the 26/27!!
I'm sure you're familiar with no limits auto parts then.
We're related. ;)
do you have a slipper clutch? cause I find it difficult to blip the throttle to downshift when I'm braking ultra hard..

3:20 that was close
4everkokonut I think 5:50 was closer :)
Yes, definitely, be careful with that beast :-)
+toysareforboys There are faster groups right? It would probably be safer to move up.... if there is....
