*beats level one without grabbing the sword* *fights a guard using a sword at the start of level two* Sign: You can't fight the guards without a sword. The prince: That thing can't stop me because I can't read!
@Sangohan404 View Turbografx version, it's even uglier. P.s. Almost all Princes of Persia have such "logic": it's a famous trick. The only exception is SNES version.
This is so ugly! Even the Megadrive version which is made by Tengen (unlicensed games) looks better. And you have a sword in level 2 even though you haven't picked any in level 1... Hooray for logic!
@pornokrat Oh, I didn't even notice that this trick was in other versions. And about the Turbografx, it's normal, because it's not a "true" 16-bit machine (the CPU is from the 8-bit generation), or at least that's what I've seen on a site.
lol in the original game i don't remember the guard following you to the next area. he just go back to his place (Anyway there is a way to bypass him even if he stands there lol)
@Sangohan404 That's right: Turbografx has only 16-bit graphics and processor. Sound driver and other parts was 16-bit. BTW, even Mobygames rights that this game has graphics between 8- and 16-bit but on TV some games look much better than on emulator (like Sonic CD).
