i dropped 2 ticks from optimal. fuck that. 8 points away. I also don't want to ever play this again, so I guess I'll settle. This was harder than I remember it, I kept fucking up at stupid parts, probably took me like an hour and a half.

the best lore of this song is that it was the first song that inspired 2 hand tapping within the GH series
and you can't even do that in the original since there are no tap notes. Im currently experiencing that pain live ;D
@@eiryukun nah you definitely can. the pattern at 0:59 for example is one of the few (basically just these and trills) where you can reliably get every single HOPO to work correctly, so you can 2 hand tap it fine with an elbow strum or just only tapping higher notes or whatever - someone figured it out in 2006 making this the very first song where it's documented that tapping can be/was used
Have you looked up Wunkydoo's Guitar Hero video of this song? He said in a reply it wasn't even that hard for himself. No joke.

That's the spot where I kept messing up too. The part after the 3 YBOs is a bit faster than the rest,. The YBO's are 9 notes, so you end on a downstrum. I like to start the bit after the 3 YBOs on a downstrum as well, so I do a quick double downstrum

After about “stage 5 or 6” of guitar hero I couldn’t 5 star the songs. They had too many notes and after a while my fingers would get tired as hell. I still practice them to this day but with no luck

He’s playing in Expert Difficulty, actually. The thing is, all Guitar Hero 1 songs weren’t properly charted and triple chords did not exist then, thus making a song look easier than usual.

He's right. Every hammer-on and pull off is broken, and the timing window is ridiculously small, and there's no calibration system in the game. Which will make solos more complicated when it shouldn't be. It may be easy for you, but it's a bad game to everyone else. Deal with it.
