I’m looking for a different kind of pointless hitch sadly. I’ve hooked up trailers hundreds of times. But this truck has some weird hitch where the bottom is the part that locks or something weird like that.
I'm sorry to interject into your video but I believe that you're incorrect on twisting the chain to shorten it to keep it from dragging on the ground by twisting the chain over itself like that you are making a leverage for that chain to break more easily if for some reason The trailer should come disconnected from the tow vehicle. Chains are meant to pull straight line not twisted twisting a chain will allow it to break more easily. You can keep the chains shorter by using a bungee or other supportive items.
