- I figured out how to fix my cresent wrench that kept seizing up. WD-40 alone DID NOT work... You have to do this.
Multi-bit screwdriver (regular and small bits): amzn.to/3db5n9W
WD-40: amzn.to/2Alxo0c
Cresent Wrench: amzn.to/2Ma0OB2

Yeah but what about the ones with a pin that don't have a slotted head screw.
That's what I have too.. but I will try the WD 40..

Thank you for this video!! I got a wrench stuck on my shower head lol
Me too!! Omgosh I need to wash my hair😭
Haha. Same.
Minr is stuck up there now!! I don't want to turn it the other way because that dang shower kept leaking a drop of water. I already messed with the screw and doubt it will work.
LOL!! Mine has been stuck on my showerhead for awhile now. Hopefully this works. We could start our own club! LOL!!
Thanks very much for the video. Got a crescent wrench stuck on a bike pedal while assembling and your tip fixed it.
Same bro
Thorough. In the event you are in a hurry, just squeeze the bottom jaw until the tension is released on the gear and turn. Can be done in 2 to 5 seconds.
Everyone should lube their hand tool hinge regularly depend on use and exposure to element like moisture, dust and other stuff that can interfere with the operation of the tool.
This worked
Thank you. This video helped a lot. Have a great day.😊
Screw is to keep the turning threads in place
Thanks for the video but I couldn't get the pin out. There was a bit of rust which was preventing the head from moving even after wd40'ing it Just when I was about to give up.. I hit the wrench head with a hammer a couple of times And voila .. the seize went away.
Thank you so much
Yay! Thank you :)
thanks my youtube dad
Wd-40 sucks. About the only thing it's good for is as a cutting fluid for aluminum. (the WD supposedly stands for water displacement or war department and rumor says it was their 40th formula) I have better luck with LPS 1,2 and 3. Each has it's specific uses ranging from dissolving, lubricating and corrosion protection. They also make an excellent contact cleaner. ;-) If something is truly stuck, HEAT IT! There is no magical rooster piss that loosens stuck shit.
WD-40 is not a penetrating oil it is a short term lubricant and will displace water or moister. Great stuff but not made for hard core rusted and stuck objects. I always have several cans around.
I broke 2 screwdriver tips on that screw. 🤦🏽♂️ wrench is still stuck.
Throw it away and buy another 🤣
My wrench is smaller than that one.. a solid steel and relatively old... And no flat head screw at the end ....but thank you.
