2 mins in and Im already annoyed. It totally kills me when parents say my (adult) child told me everything....NO they dont! No matter how stong you think your bond is. Your child is an adult living their life and they are most likely NOT giving you a direct play by play. Now back to the episode lol

She can’t legally stop him from going anywhere unless she has power of attorney or something like that to make him stay. I know someone who’s brother is bipolar with a lot of mental issues and when stops taking his meds, he’s out of control!!! And she’s cannot admit him to a pysc hospital because he has to volunteer. But all in all there’s a lot of red tape to stop one with mental issues. 😔😔Never the less, I understand what your saying. @Jasmine p.

I always love when the mothers can put their egos, pride, and own feelings aside and let the "deniers" see the children in the judge's chamber. That shows maturity and that the parent has their child's best interest and happiness in mind no matter how offended they may have been.

I was listening to this while doing the dishes with my phone screen off. So I couldn't see the baby pictures or her body language yet just from how she told her story with so many details and so much emotion in her voice I could tell she was telling the truth.

My husband knew I was pregnant with both of our children before I even missed a period. If a man can sense his woman is pregnant before a test, I’m sure a woman who is pregnant can do the same.

from the day we concived both our children we both knew we are always unsafe and the first time was what you could call party season and it was the 3rd of that month and from then on at parties and events i wouldnt drink and we would say its for the baby on the 3rd of the next month we took a test and it was positive
fast forward our daughter is a few months from being 2 (we take a test every month sence her birth)
i say we are about to be parents to 2 children and he didnt question it or anything and 3 weeks later we take a test and its positive

I have to say after the mother said he thought she was stealing his money and was mad at her the lightbulb went off for me. In my opinion, she just did not want to lose the death benefits from her son.

I don’t understand why these grandmas are always so upset over the children getting survivor/death benefits. Parents aren’t eligible to receive any of the money anyhow, so what’s the big deal? They’re always acting like the money comes from THEM or something.

It really doesn’t seem like it’s much money at all - usually just a couple hundred bucks, like you said. It depends on how long the deceased worked and paid into Social Security. AND the benefit amount is split amongst all the survivor’s children. More kids means less money for each kid.
Maybe that’s why some of these grandmas get so mad about the ladies wanted the benefits? They don’t want these unknown ladies and their unclaimed kids taking money away from their “existing” grandkids - they ones they are bonded with - even though that’s wrong and unfair. JUST A THOUGHT.

A lot of people are kinda saying what you're saying and I get it but if you think about it how could the mom (grandma) stop the son from leaving? Teenagers run away all the time bc they think they're grown, know more then their parents etc. And I really do believe the mom was paying his bills but his Schizophrenia may have been telling him otherwise. To me the question is why would a mother with 2 daughters be involved with a guy like him. There's obviously more to the story from all sides. Just saying.
I know this might sound cruel but I hope the little boy's mother took him to get checked out for mental problems before he gets older..

I feel like the mom is guilty for whatever she might have done to JC when he was alive so she is taking all of her frustrations on the BBM. Her aggression is so unnecessary. You can't make someone be a father, nor go through loops and bounds when you agreed to part ways; so it was NOT Miss Crowe's responsibility to go and look for him KNOWING that she would have had to take care of him and her three kids. I love watching Judge Lake with the children she helps. She's a wonderful person who truly cares about her job.
Grandma not easy, even in the Judge's chamber I observed some attitude, and the child's mother seems so open and accepting, she said "go share some love" to her son, that was so nice, and he did just that. Grandma better behave, the fact that her son and her were not on good terms over money leaves a lot to be desired.
And now the Mother wants benefits for the baby that's money the Grandma won't get.
She will be resentful she seems greedy to me
The grandmother should not be left alone with the baby. She was cold. The grandmothers tend to soften once they know the child is their kin. Her son was right about her stealing his money. That's why she was so in denial because even her own evidence proved that the baby looked like her. Now she has to give up his estate to the rightful next-of-kin. I cannot stand greedy people. Who steals from a child?
That "Grandmother" should not be trusted alone with that baby.

Such a sad case. JCs mom really didn't have to act like that as grown as she is. I would be happy n loved to know if my son fathered a child knowing he's no longer around. In the room she first didn't seem to want to hold the baby or anything.

Grandma has been through a lot and we don’t know what her inner battle was. But the minute her grandchild who looked just like his father as a child I have to say, kissed her the bond was undeniable and it was beautiful to watch.

This is why I liked this grandmother in the end. Unlike a lot of the nasty pieces of work that have come through this show, this one realizes what a gift she's been given. A part of her son is still here that she can hold, love and help teach.

I honestly think the grandmother is scared to love. She tried her hardest not to hold on to him but you could see she melted. It is scary to love after grief.

I love this case. The mother was honest,forward & with her head high. I knew she wasn't lying so I watch till the end even got a snack & drink. Its sad in a way his dad passing away,but at least he has his grandma & I'm sure other family members at the father side.

The baby looked identical to the grandmothers baby pictures. tragic that the father was lost but I’m glad they have the beautiful baby as a silver lining. much love to the families. ending made me cry
I love when stories with deceased fathers work out, there’s nothing more upsetting then when a family is gracing and they find out the child isn’t related
