He was sentenced to more than 4 years, since he crossed state lines that made it FEDERAL charges and he was sentenced to MORE THAN 4 YEARS. When the episode was taped he was still in prison!!!
I’m the son of the woman here, I am now 25 and have lived a full and healthy life. While I disagree and regret my father’s decisions, I have spoken to him. Our relationship is nothing more than a few talks a year the man has severe mental health issues and do not hate him. There has been a lot of changes on both sides on the opinion of this situation. It’s confusing and difficult as a child, and young adult, to understand but my father’s focus has long since shifted from my mother and from my understanding his ultimate goal was to prevent her from making a custody hearing. Not kill her, no justification by any means but hard to hear both sides of the coin being the child of the two

When I was a child, my estranged-drug addict father kidnapped me, and my brother when I was in third grade. And it was so terrifying & scary, that I can relate to the fear she had. She was a very smart young lady, and also had to do with saving herself 😁

My first ex fiance, his name was David, when he told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me I believed him, I was 19 years old at the time, tried to kidnap me, a month before we were going to get married, and it was GOD, that came to my rescue. then 2 weeks before we were going to get married, he hit me with his car, he didn't want me to find out the truth, he was a bad guy. But I did find out 2 weeks before we were to get married, AND THAT'S WHY I DIDN'T MERRY HIM. I was in bad shape, in the hospital, I lived inspite of what he did. Doctors said it's a miracle, I lived. so my Doctor says the Brain Tumor I have now is caused by me being hit by his car, and being knocked out for 2 days. idk.
She got back home the same day. The kidnapping was 4 hours on the road. I'm sure several hours at the police station and then picked her son up at her father in laws at 4a.m. I'm sure the dog was hungry and thirsty but good health. God bless you.

Everyone should know that all cars manufactured after the year 2000 have an "escape latch" in the trunk. It's a little handle you can pull to pop the trunk open!
@@catwhisperer1253 Your car's User Manual will tell you where to find the escape latch, but if God forbid you end up in the trunk of someone else's car, you'll at least know the latch is there and where it's LIKELY located!

I just watched a true story on "It's a miracle" where a lady who was trapped in a trunk was able to unplug the wire to the radio so he couldn't drown out her screams and she unscrewed the taillights or brake lights. She then put her hand through them, along with other objects she found, including tissues to attract attention. It worked. Someone saw it, followed them, called the police, and the police rescued her. It was an old episode that happened a few decades ago, so cars might be different now. But, good to know if someone can't find the trunk latch in a stranger's car.

You're right, cars might be different now, but I bet if you searched TH-cam for videos on "how to escape from a trunk," you could find a lot of valuable information. That's why I started watching a lot of true crime videos. At first, I randomly watched one in which a senior lady (like myself) made a huge mistake that cost her her life. I learned something from that, so I kept on watching similar videos which can also (like the girl in the trunk) provide valuable tips on the RIGHT things to do. Be vigilant out there!

The mother carries the fetus for nine months, creates it from an egg to a full baby, goes through hours of labour pains and often risks her own life to bring the child to life. She nourishes him/her with her own milk and has a strong bond with the child before he/she is even born, and she instinctively knows how to take care of him/her. Meanwhile, the guy gave a sperm in a sex act. Big deal; sperm is a dime a dozen.. To think this sperm entitles them to full custody is arrogance beyond understanding.
