Thanky you for the storey of The Christmas Box. I lost a daughter50 years ago and I still think of her.. She lived for 2 days and because I was so sick I didn't get to see her . It was devastating. I know first hand that no one understands unless they have gone through it. Being a Christian who believes that God loves us, I hold to the belief that I will see her soon. God bless every woman who has gone through this.
My mum lost a daughter. Shez 85 years old and it has been so hard for her, she cries so hard bcoz my sister treated her so special. I will order it.
And this guy, what's his name, "Richard" (John-Boy) is the same guy that didn't want to rake up Maureen O'Hara's leaves. I just think of that little angel going "Rich--ard, Rich---ard." Oh, wow. His real name is Richard Thomas.
Imagine the enormity of God's love for each and every single one of us.. not just the living, it extends to the one's who never experienced it. What an awesome God. Thank you Lord Jesus for the love you have for me and others. Thank you for blessing me with another day. Amen
Wow💥, after all those years, I am utterly surprised that "Reader"s Digest" is still alive. I am 72 yrs old and, adolescent, I loved to read it (knowing that it as an "old" magasine!!!) I just checked... it started 1922 a century ago and still going on!!!!.... I hope that the lady that first asked about the Angel will have been able to grieve in front of one of your Angels...

My sister and I were pregnant together this year and just today she had her beautiful baby girl as a still born. My heart is hurting as I was anticipating to raise our daughters together we did everything for our babies together and were anticipating their arrivals and I just feel a hole. The Christmas box story was touching. I pray I get to experience my niece with such divine intervention ❤ god be with us

This story about a black cat reminds me of when our dog Maggie a labrador pitbull mix saved a kitten that was stuck in a tree by getting my brother Patrick's attention when she did that the black and white kitten fell into a bush and then a few minutes later my brother Patrick comes into our house and says I got a black and white kitten what should I do with it and I said you should call the Oregon humane society he didn't do that but the black and white kitten was able to get a very good home

I read the book and cried and I remembered the 5 miscarriages I had. I don't grieve for them anymore.

So many of these stories are just like this one. People get hurt first and then due to a miracle they don't die.
I read lots of Reader's Digest editions when I was young...I loved the stories.
