- For the past two decades, Francis Libiran's opulent garments have graced countless wedding aisles, red carpets, and interational fashion events. From art deco patterns, ornate cutouts, to elaborate embellishments, the fashion designer breathes new life to traditional silhouettes with his impeccable design savvy. Truly, it's no wonder that for the biggest night of their lives, Filipino beauty queens have been turning to his creations to make sure they're at their best. For example, did you know that Francis designed the winning gowns of Megan Young in Miss World 2013 as well as Kylie Verzosa's in Miss International 2016? In fact, those are only two of his iconic pageant creations-he has also dressed the likes of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Miss World Philippines 2019 Michelle Dee, and many more.

Recently, Beatrice Gomez gowns made by Francis Libiran was also eye catching and unforgettable. I must say that those gowns were simple but elegant.
Classic ung designs niya, not too fashion forward. May unting twist lang. Pang mass market. Nothing wrong it. Depende lang sa preference mo.

The 2 gowns for Kylie Versoza were the best on the list. The gown for Katarina Rodriguez was also great. The other dresses were too plain to be memorable. He is a good looking man. But his pageant gowns lack character.
I completely disagree, his pageant gowns were on point! Dressing the first ever Miss World of the Ph in 2013 and Miss International in 2016 were some of his big achievements in pageantry!

But he doesn’t consider the wearers body shape in his designs, he could have placed some beads and patterned embelishments in a way that will improve wearers body shape. Silhouettes are horrible. And who said these designs are unforgettable when no one in the pageant world talked about these gowns in the first place. Megan, Catriona and Kylie’s gowns looked heavy and old.
Rabiya's, Catriona's, Kylie's, and Bea's were perfect! Other gowns appeared stiff and unflattering, sorry.

Walang "WOW" factor yung mga gowns nya di katulad ng mga gowns ni Michael Cinco at Mak Tumang.
Again, that’s your cognitive assessment but not for me. Gowns that fit and look elegant and exquisite on the contestants with regal move presentation, are far more memorable.
