Catriona's gown is so hypnotizing when looking at it closely. The craftsmanship in putting those crystal for it to look like a lava is outstanding.

When I read the title I was immediately reminded of Catriona's gown, that was phenomenal!
Catriona's Lava Gown has bevome iconic and epitome of gowns on the suceeding years. It has become the standards of designers. Yet, no matter how amazing the gown is, it also boils down on how it was carried by the wearer. So far, no matter how much they copied Cat,🐱 there is only one Cat😉 and that is Catriona Gray. 😻

They are all beautiful gowns, RED being my favorite color (lo) BUT to me 6 Mexico was the winner! The deep red and sequined, OMG, so beautiful!!!

Favorite: No. 3 (France) - love the simplicity of that gown. Elegant simplicity.
Runner-up: No. 5 (USA) - quite a bold and daring design with its strategically placed cut-outs.
I saw Catriona's Lava gown on a show in Araneta Coliseum ..where most of the Miss Philippines 2010-2017 except 2012 shashayed together with Catriona on stage ... the Lava Gown was breathtaking, it was glowing, glistening brightly as if she was on fire ...

10 instantly reminded me of Catriona's gown and when I saw from what year of Miss U she was, it made sense. Cat's gown is so unique and made such a huge impact to pageant fans so creating dresses that will remind people of it especially when it's still fresh in everyone's mind is never a good idea.
I love the design of 8 and I would have placed it higher on the list.
Not a fan of Jamaica's gown but red suits her. She's so gorgeous!

The fact that they have included the red dress from Kenya, and did not include the dress worn by Bolivia in 2013 or Jimena Navarrete's Benito Santos seems crazy to me.
Well, we all know that most of the gown in MU is made by a Filipino designer. ♥️ But 2018 MU is the most memorable show ever and the mos epic MU is 2015.
