It might be dated. But each year, I always find myself playing this game. It’s very dark and the old school PS1 graphics further enhance the theme, it’s creepy yet addicting. A strange yet interesting twist on an innocent childhood tale. Also Kelvin, the painting of “Quirrel” at 3:18 is actually a photo of one of the game’s developers. This was revealed at the end of the PS1 version to “Chamber of Secrets” - you should play that too I’d love to hear your commentary 😊
Ultimately the game is great and I had a wonderful time playing through it! I will definitely be playing Chamber of Secrets 😄 I want to get to all the HP games at some point
I honestly prefer Jeremy Soule's PS1 Harry Potter theme over John Williams' theme from the movie honestly, which always felt like it was trying too hard to be grand, epic and whimsical. Something about Soule's version just feels right, it really gives that sense of wonder, adventure, and mystery you'd expect to feel when attending a wizarding school that's been around since medieval times. Especially the trumpets at the end which gives me strong middle ages vibes.
Definitely not sketchy and creepy at all 3:22
Exactly like what is he doing lurking around in broad daylight??

The trolls and the suits of armors coming to life to attack scared me a lot when I was a kid

There's a strange, appealing aspect to this game that I can't explain, but maybe because the PS1 era was the best I mean look at those graphics man gg
