    Just so you're aware... The title of this video is, "How I Use My Spurs". It is NOT, "How I Use The Calf Of My Leg". It is NOT, "How I Use My Heels". Most intelligent riders realize... if the horse responds to your calf or heel... it's NOT necessary to press with the spur. Just saying.

    Oh, this is a delicate topic! I find this video very useful, brief and useful. Thanks!
    I hate the manner with which many riding instructors teaching to use spurs just jabbing; often with school horses that have became lazy. I think that's not the right solution, especially practiced by inexperienced students.

      Игра - сесть на лошадь в леваде и усидеть, сделав круг на свободе, вернувшись в леваду)

    Are u using abusive spurs or non-abusive spurs?

      Your question reveals you're not very knowledgeable about riding or training horses. There is no such thing as abusive or non-abusive spurs. The only difference is the way the rider uses them. Spurs are either used correctly or incorrectly.
