How to Light Up a Shadow Box & Get Unique Lighting Effects!

Learn how to make a light up a shadow box with different kinds of LED lights! Some of my favorite papercraft projects are layered shadow boxes! I love the depth and detail we can create with just paper, don’t you? But to really level up a design, lights are the key. So I'll show you how to make several ways to make a lighted shadow box. You can use my winter scene or make your own custom shadow box design!

* A method to cut your cardstock - I used the amazing Cricut Maker 3, with the Fine-Point Blade but you can use any Maker or Explore

I've been wanting to do a lighted shadowbox for awhile and this is a perfect way to try it out. It worked beautifully for a first timer. Great instructions as always and I love the design. It will make a great last minute Christmas gift.

there are all kinds of mini light strings available, some are battery operated and others simply plug into an outlet.

@Jennifer Maker, Inspiration, your name is Jennifer! I watched your video on transferring with transfer tape. Problem I'm having is getting the letters to stick to the darn tape. I've used a card to burnish, so random. Same problem getting letters to release from the tape. Suggestions, oh Great One?
