- Join us on a relaxing walk through the charming Hayes Barton Historic District in Raleigh, North Carolina. This prestigious neighborhood, developed between 1920 and the mid-twentieth century, offers a peaceful escape from the city, with a rich history and abundant wildlife.
As you stroll through the district, you'll explore its fascinating history. Noted landscape architect Earle Sumner Draper designed Hayes Barton, incorporating naturalistic landscapes and allowing roads to follow the terrain. The neighborhood boasts a fine collection of Georgian Revival, Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, and Dutch Colonial Revival dwellings, many designed by architects.
Throughout the walk, you'll have the chance to experience the sights and sounds of the local wildlife, including squirrels, chipmunks, and a variety of birds. The peaceful atmosphere is further enhanced by the rumble of distant thunder, which can be heard about halfway through the journey.

We began with a simple idea: share nature's visuals and sounds. Then, we saw the beauty in sharing the journey itself, not just the destination. Hence, this channel took its first steps, moving from static to dynamic.
We mainly film using a Sony FX30/E 11mm F1.8 camera and a Zhiyun Crane M3 gimbal for steady footage. Nature's sounds are recorded with a Zoom F6 and binaural microphones, and we polish the final product with Davinci Resolve Studio and Izotope RX.
The purpose of our videos is to provide an escape, potentially offering benefits such as relaxation, stress relief, and fostering a calming environment conducive to meditation, study, and sleep.

@@TheKing-bb2wu There are very strict zoning laws in most of the US to prevent building commercial properties in residential areas. Loud gatherings on the streets are considered not desirable
@@korbendallas8298 People usually keep to themselves unless they live in big city's but that also depends on which part of the country you live in.

All those neighborhoods look like they were designed by the same designer. There is variety, of course, the houses are not all the same, but it looks like there is a specific palette of colors and designs allowed. I like when I see a stone themed houses, because it is so unusual among all others. And, have you noticed there is no shops or ad banners anywhere so there is no need for other people to come here and disrupt the peace of the neighborhood? I guess that is good peace-wise, but if you need to buy something it is rather inconvenient. Also, most of the houses do not have fences around property, which is super weird for me. I must admit, having no fences is better, the property and the beauty of the property is not obstructed by the fence and it gives you feel of continuity and the property looks larger.
Those are very safe neighborhoods... there is no need for fences and the commercial properties are grouped together on some major street usually a mile or so away. Very strict zoning laws are enforced to keep commercial and residential property separate

You and me both on wanting to hear the sound of rain. I LOVE the rain and it seems like the rain always misses me. The SIM card ran out of space right as the rain on this day got started. I had a second SIM card which was occupied with another video. There's a chance of rain on Saturday and I already have a spot picked out. 🤞

Well dang feels like Bel air, when xj I've never seen. How much are these homes on average, and how much annually to afford one, just curious?
We were curious about the prices too. Seems they range from between 1 - 5 million on average. I’m guessing some of the outliers are well beyond that. I think we determined 750k a year to get a bank loan on average.

To me the USA looks all the same, a road and houses on both sides of the road lol.I am not knocking it I love the american houses and landscape but I find it funny.
This may be true for the layout. But styles very much differentiate. e.g. On the Pacific coast you have a lot of wooden beach houses, in new mexico you have many clay like pueblo houses.
