Short answer to the question presented in this video: Yes, but it'll be a struggle the whole way through.
I'd recommend using the Arbiter, Brute Chieftain, or Captain Cutter if you're going for Infantry only.
Arbiter can hold the line pretty well on his own while you build up your forces, so he's a solid choice.
Brute Chieftain has his infamous rush tactics, and being able to build Brutes from the base itself helps you build a solid force up from the very start.
As for Cutter, while he may need support from other allies to make it work best, once he gets ODST's, he'll basically be unstoppable.
can confirm at one point i turtled for about an hour vs two 81 AI's using only odst's they were pumping out scarabs and i had one base i gave up cos i got bored

Several missed opportunities where you could’ve helped red when his hawks were ambushed by vampires, but you kept marching towards empty bases for no tactical purpose.

Respect to the green guy he sank down with his ship and didn't resigned even when he was getting the shot of grace by your army at the end, pretty heated too the lives of lots of jackals, hunters and grunts give their best against pretty fierceful enemies such as vampires, hornets and ocassional tank raids
Ever since I first started on both halo wars games I've always been spamming infantry as my go to tactic I sacrifice a lot of troops to distract the enemy while rest of my team pushes their base

Bro thats going to be difficult they just get rip against turrets vehicles and air units
The key is cooooonstant spam and retreat the units that are half or below to help gain veterancy
Hunters have good assault beam sad that they can't attack air units
I’m surprised you didn’t just use cutter and odst to win the infantry only challenge, would’ve been the best method to pull a win since it’s already a viable strategy anyway
ODSTs are infantry and they slap.

Yes I did, they are shutting down all of the matchmaking for Halo games from 360. EXCEPT Halo wars. According to their chart Halo wars will remain unaffected

I maen it is very possible iv played a few game where the other players went just odst and was able to hold us off for a good amount of time till we all got tires of the game taking to long

why did you never use beam? he shredded you with it but you never used it. that's part of why your teammates carried you the whole game and you didn't do well at all
It's a challenge video, I'm not using normal strats it's in the title of the video
@@TurnipVids but you still used it once. and beam is a leader power not a unit anyways.
only reason i say this is because ive seen you do this in other vids where you let their prophet shred your jackals in beam. but even that doesn't negate the usefulness of using the beam in an even conflict (like in the video you had a 11,000+ resources but still didn't beam)
@@nix4110 Beam is probably the worst leader power, Jackals are very weak on their own so beaming a moving flying prophet when you have like 7 jackals is not really worth it, especially when the prophet will recall when sheild is gone. Yea I could have had more jackals at some point but I'm not perfect I don't really think it's cool to say I did bad when we won the game and I was practically goofing off the whole time building infantry hence the title of the video
