So bx is basic line and part of the first few beys that dropped.Then in march of this year they introduced UX beys ;unique line , the UX beys use resin instead of metal for the hooks (the part that the latches onto the launcher) they also have more Outward weight distribution because the metal is all on the outside part of the blade. The current UX line up is Dran buster,Wizard Rod,Hells Hammer,and Shinobi Shadow. There are 2 more that dropped and you can preorder now Phoenix rudder (available on a deck set so you get 2 other beys along with it) and Leon Crest
Skipped Horn Rhino and Chain Incendio - wouldn't be apposed to getting the latter or it's upgraded version in a future product, tho. And any Bey that comes in a product over £20 is an automatic skip if it's not one I'm absolutely sure I want - like Cobalt Dragoon, because I promised myself I wouldn't go nuts spending money on this toyline.
Hearing you say keel shark is worth it FEELS AWESOME it was my favorite bey in the anime so far (on ep 13) and I had to order it online cause it’s no where near me and it’s coming in a month
Why did they make 80s ratchets if theyre so bad? Surely they have to some pros in other areas? I like how give some detailed reasonings for which blades are good though. Would love to see that for the other parts as well instead of "its not used in competitive/just not good"
I think the idea was they would have a rock-paper-scissors match up: 80 punching down on 70 that punches down on 60 that goes under 80. But it turned out to not work like that and 60 became too powerful allowing it to easily burst the other heights.

In general it’s not a competitively viable blade. It’s not impossible to win with rhino horn, but based on the general competitive meta it’s not as viable compared to other blades.
