UPDATE: New favorite backdrop stand and the one I currently recommend: bit.ly/3l9mI9m The one mentioned in the video is still a great option, but better used if you do a lot draping!

I am a big fan of yours. I have been looking at this backdrop for a while now and pondering purchasing. Like you, I purchased the tripod first. So I know the issues that it presents. Also, I love the tip about the Ubackdrop. Thank you. I will be purchasing the new frame.
I have the tripod back drop stand too and believe me it doesn’t hold much weight I love to use satin fabrics for my back drops and I hate would it bends in the middle I cant wait to purchase this one!! 😁 I also can’t wait to purchase backdrops from Ubackdrop 🥰❤️

Just FYI. I purchased the pipe and drape kit from the same maker. I was rushing for a job and didn’t read the reviews. When I got it, I opened it a few days later and the pin inside the pole that adjusts the length was stuck! It wouldn’t release. I was banging it and trying to pull it. Nothing. I sprayed it with oil and the next day it slipped out. But it was 2 days before the event. I went back and read the reviews and was disappointed by the experiences some folks had. They couldn’t even have their event because the kits were incomplete. So order in advance Incase there an issue. Even the replacement was damaged. I emailed them right away and they made it right, but it hits your pocket when the event is impacted by faulty equipment. Order early so you have time to make correction.

Yes, this is very good quality but will of course need to be weighted and secured down if outdoors due to weather conditions. It’s great to have you hun! 💕

I just purchased this stand (first one ever) I’m short and since the height is not adjustable I had a hard time adding the backdrop. Any tricks to make my life easier? Also how did u tie the garland that’s what I had the most trouble with?
Hey Jessica, I’m short too! Tricks for us is to pull the bar off and drape the crossbar on the ground then put the bar up once the backdrop/curtains are on it. I also invested in a good fold up step stool from Home Depot. 💪🏽
It’s a lot easier with two people of course, but it can be done with one as well. For balloon garlands to attach, you want to use “260 balloons” and stretch them around the poles to tie at different spots to secure the garland where you want it.
