In the step after the columns reduction matrix, we are drawing two horizontal lines & two vertical lines. Why can't we draw 4 horizontal lines, even that is covering all zeros. If horizontal rows are covered, in the next step, we will not be able to find the matrix based on uncovered elements. Could u please explain how to find a solution for this Mam?

There is no problem any way you can draw the lines but keep in mind that all zeros should be covered. This will not affect the cost. The cost will be the same.

We will create the modified matrix with the help of these lines and after that we will create the assignment by selecting the minimum element and repeating this procedure till we get the optimal solution to the traveling salesman problem.
