i know people who tell their employees to go on a little vaccation when they are on sick leaves for stress, so yeah i didn't get that one at all

(Many consider overt physical disability the only "real" kind of disability.)
If I had broken legs, then no amount of wanting would allow me to wrestle sharks, for example.
Patrick McCurry Have you never heard of stress illnesses? This isnt a insult or anything but stress illnesses can be as bad if not worse than real illnesses (because they are easy to get and lead into a long list of depression and self hatred) however they are easy to get rid of and often can be resolved by destressing e.g going on holiday, when you aren't stressed most of your physical ability comes back so he would be able to do that stuff, (also the adrenaline rush induced from danger e.g shark approching kids, gives you the ability to do stuff you couldnt do even if perfectly healthy). For a short conclusion, stress illness is a perfectly acceptable reason for a short trip and would in no way limit your ability to fight a shark, unless your me in which point you would curl up and die of fear near that shark.

At my last job I was working in a more secluded area by myself, felt a fart coming on, figured, why not? No one's around. Right after, apparently someone needed to come talk to me. Thankfully he said nothing about it, and left me be to stand in my little cloud of shame. T-T

In high school, my art teacher took me out of one of my other classes during the middle of the day, and drove me to my house JUST to get some art project I left home. This was also the same teacher that used to text me before school to ensure that I was going that day. Best teacher ever.

I used to work for a company that had in the hand book that "discharging gas" anywhere but in the bathroom was grounds for dismissal. I was there for five years and did, in fact, witness someone get fired for farting outside of the bathroom.

Obesity is not a disability and definitely should not be labeled as one! As a person with multiple rare and chronic disabilities, it's insulting to me that (in most cases) someone's choice should be 'equal' to my disabilities and suffering in the eyes of the law! Obesity is costing so much money, with 'benefits', paid leave, and whatever else these people are entitled to, especially in Europe.
I do care about obesity, I just don't think it should come before those with disabilities they can't help.

I don't think that obesity should count as a disability. Sure there are a few people that have screwed up metabolisms that make it nearly impossible to get in shape but that is an extremely small percentage of people, the rest of them are just too lazy to do anything, you don't even have to work out, just actually do something with your life besides sit on the couch and eat garbage, you shouldn't get special privileges for simply not caring. I don't think that it's fair to fire a guy for farting but he should not get a technicality for obesity.
+Taz Olson It's a disability because it's addictive, and it's the only addiction that you can't quit cold like you could with smoking or alcohol.
You can easily quit overeating, tons of people have done it, it's not even hard, you just have to occupy your time with something productive.
***** I truly admire you for being able to lose your weight, but I promise it isn't as easy for everyone. As a university student, I get neither rest nor exercise. That's because I'm always assigned with tasks that melt my brain but none of which make me break a single sweat. So my problem isn't laziness, I'm just overwhelmed. And I'm sure a lot of people can relate to me as well, this is why it can be a disability.
+SickMetalAddict However, you can actually lose weight from doing schoolwork. You burn calories when you do homework, it's true. Also, to help with obesity, instead of eating junk food, you can eat healthy stuff. :)
