I just purchase my Meteor at the excellent (my experience) Mount Vernon, Ohio RE dealership yesterday. They had a good supply of all the Meteor models and colors. My first riding impression is that the bike feels very refined, it has an extremely easy takeoff from a stop, it's very comfortable, it's easy to get on and off, it feels large, it has very good low end torque and it sounds good. At 70 years old, I find it enough bike for me. I ride the beautiful Ohio back roads as well. Thanks OMR for the help in making my decision on purchasing this bike.
You're extremely welcome Steve and I thank you for watching. Take a picture of yourself and the Meteor and email it too me for the subscriber shout out!
Got my Meteor 900 miles ago and enjoying the experience more than I could imagine. I’m a long time Harley rider/enthusiast (50+yrs). At 79 years old I decided to downsize and reduce the weight. The Meteor is certainly not underpowered and doesn’t even hint at struggling to do what I want it to do. I couldn’t be happier with it. Top quality everywhere you look. Nice bike!
It conforts me to see a man with such a full garage to talk about the bike I've ordered recently. I am still gonna have to wait till late October, but I understand your smile to ride it because it was there for me too when I rode it. I'll be looking forward to watch your 1000 miles review and so on. Thanks from Brazil! By the way nice sightseeing from Ohio state. Beautiful place!
I flat out just love the looks of it. I agree , I love that root beer brown color. Kinda reminds me of those old root beer barrel candies. I think RE is headed in the right direction and a great value for what you get
I have gotten to ride the 2021 himalayan and the interceptor 650, the first thing i noticed was how nice they shifted, so light, the clutch was light and the whole experience of shifting was so much nicer than my V-strom! I love what RE are doing, i would love to have one of each of their bikes, they are like kittens and i just want to love them and squeeze them and hold them tight! Lol. Unfortunately with the exception of the 650s they just lack the poke i need to do the really long distance stuff, but i really like them for short rides of an hour or so around town or down to the beach about 45mins away.
I know what you mean I had the same smile on my face about two months ago when I purchased mine I turn 70 in October. I never thought I could love a bike as small as a 350 that much!
Love that paint color and the quality. They did a great job with this bike. Says online it get 100mpg too! That makes the low power a little more excusable. Gets more than double the MPG of a Sportster and like 50% more than the Himalayan. I think in India where people care about motorcycle mpg its a pretty big advantage.
Very happy to see and hear your exhilaration and happy laugh when you are riding this bike. All the best in enjoying your rides on the Royal Enfield Meteor.
When I started riding in 1964, some people were touring on bikes this size and smaller. Almost every bike was an adventure bike. I had a 185 Suzuki, and my buddy had a 175 Kawasaki, and we would strap our fishing poles and .22 pistols on them, and spend all day having fun. Now those fun little reliable two strokes are gone, and some asshole would call the sheriff on you for fishing or shooting leaves floating down the river. We have really advanced, haven`t we? Now I have been retired for 20 years and he is a multi millionaire. Yep, a couple of troublemakers for sure.
I bought Meteor 350 supernova brown almost 4 years of waiting, test riding many bikes finally decided to own this bike. Its first refined bike from RE but it took them almost 120 years. It has its own charm
Thank you for your reviews. I purchased a 2021 Meteor 350 in Stellar Red. It is my first bike since 2007/2008 that I have owned. Great little bike, decent power for around town. Your reviews and a few others helped me decide what I should get. It was either this bike or the Honda Rebel 300/500. So far I am pleased with the decision I have made! Thank you again!
Nice to finally see a US review on the bike. Nothing against the Brits and Indians with tons of videos on TH-cam but I want to see what it’s like on the demands of American roads
Easy peasy crusin 👏. Sounds and looks like a great addition to your stable. If I didn't already have the 500 classic this could be one for me. Great first impressions video 👏
Greetings from the UK. Had my Meteor since July and now covered 1500 miles. The bike starts to loosen up nicely around 1000 miles, feels smoother, more responsive and mechanically quieter. Mine will hold 70mph on our UK motorways (freeway equivalent) as the revs drop in 5th gear. Very little in the way of vibration and on reaching 65mph all vibration disappears. Although the engine is pulling a few revs at 70 it never feels strained and will maintain this even on inclines. Had the Himalayan beforehand, that was a cracking bike but the seat hieght and weight made me change as I didn't feel safe manouvering it around. On paper the Meteor doesn't seem worth a second glance but for any doubters you need to ride one and enjoy the experience. The Himalayan is a quality piece of kit but the Meteor has moved up into the next league and is up there with the premium bikes from Honda, Yamaha etc. In the UK it is bargain basement money to buy and demand is outstripping supply. All the best guys, ride safe and keep your knees enjoying the breeze!!🙂👍
Good video, glad to see RE bringing their 350s to America, can't wait for the Classic to be brought to states and hopefully a reintroduction of the Classic 500. Just wish we had a dealership near me.
Sadly, I don’t think the 500 will exist. Emission policies have put a stop to that, and worldwide, including locally in India the sales were very low compared to the 350 engine. The 650 exists, but it’s easier controlling emissions of two smaller cylinders rather than one big one. Though that engine is physically way too big to fit the old frame and likely over powered from the Classic chassis and brakes.
@shaumik das yes. I’m aware of that. I’ve already test ridden the Meteor here in Australia and soon the Classic 350 will be here too. But what does that have to do with a 500cc model? Or 650? I don’t understand your response to me.
Thanks Ol' Man. I love the Royal Enfield line up. I want one of each model! Have you seen the new Classic 350? Just released in India. Uses the same motor. Man such a beautiful bike. Cant wait till they reach the western countries.
Classic 350 is a legendary bike the earlier version was released on 2013 I think and it went become a instant hit and Royal Enfield bikes are back on track , the company biggest selling bikes. The new one is more refined engine 😍
Ol’ Man Ronan, I love your ‘honest’ videos !! Glad you got a Meteor 350 !! Do you get to keep it for awhile? Looking forward to more videos on the 350 !! Thank You !! Yes, you do live in a very beautiful part of Ohio !! Dave
Greetings Dave, I should have it a month or so. So there should be a bunch of videos in the next several months on the amazing little bike. It Really makes me smile.
The roads, the sound, the torque, the thump, the greenery, your voice, and the motorcycle overall! Just AMAZING!!! I vicariously enjoyed the first ride man! Can't wait for my Meteor Fireball yellow trim to arrive, just weeks from now!
I went to college back in 1978 and I bought a very used 1972 Honda CB 350 for $75.00. The guy I bought the bike from fell on it and decided he was done riding bikes. Well The bike’s battery was shut, the shifter was an improvised vise grip pliers and I took it to my college dormitory, on my way to the dorm it began to rain and I slipped the shift and almost ended up on the ground. A passerby with a pickup truck gave me a ride to my dorm and the next morning I took the bike to the shop. For another $75.00 they fixed the shifter and got a new battery. I was then shown that the bike had a electric starter, hey it was my first bike and the first time I rode a motorcycle. Loved the bike, the 350cc was more than enough to me. Cannot wait to buy a meteor and when it reaches the USA a classic 350. Loved your “review” and had to subscribe. Outstanding channel content. Stay safe bro.
Watching this review was so much fun, by far one of the best I´ve seen about this bike and I´ve watched A LOT, I think this is going to be my next bike, I´m still hesitating because of the Roadster 650 rumors (same bike but with the parallel-twin 650 engine) but I just can´t wait! btw Ohio looks beautiful! I´m definitely going to be cruisin' there someday! Greetings from Barranquilla- Colombia.
I wish more brands would counter balance there engines like RE is doing. It makes sense in a Cruiser model. Ultra Smooth engine with so little vibration you wonder if there is a engine. Just how low you can get that engine to idle once its run in some more is the big question from me. I know the RE Himalayan 2020 I have has significantly gained power and lower Idle stability at 2850 Kms so far. Each time I ride it she just keeps impressing me more. I know the RE 500 Bullet tribute is out and signalling the end of that motor line, but if they ever bore out the Meteor engine too 500cc and get it well counter balanced then they would be crazy to NOT re-introduce a new RE 500 Bullet with that smoother emission controlled engine. Namaste`
Just got mine last week. waited for more than 6 months. Your video just reinforces my decision to buy it. thank you, your thoughts on the bike are exactly as mine.
Meteor is a reincarnation of RE thunderbird bike, with new counter balanced 350 engine, this is perfect for city commute, and to do your quick errand. Perfect bike for ironlady, Ronin you should buy her one for Christmas 👍. Note: supernova model has a USB charger aswell (in India we get it). Ronin check out the new classic 350 launched few days ago, it has the same engine as meteor. I did not like the old classic 350 from RE, but this one is just perfect, the looks, the design, the colours available is awesome.
Thanks wolfie and Iron lady ALREADY wants one. lol Yes i think the bike is a great light or ultralight cruiser. I am enjoying my time with it immensely
I was very interested in the Meteor 350 and patiently waiting for some to arrive at the dealership but when they did arrive they had 3 but they were already gone because they were pre sold I didn't get the opportunity to sit on one so I sat on a Himalayan and bought mine and think I made a better choice for the type of roads I will be riding on in Northeast Ohio similar to the roads that you ride on and using it for so maybe the dealership not having any Meteors in stock was a blessing because now I own a Himalayan I like all of the Royal Enfields but I only have enough storage space for only one and can only afford one of them I like the old school looks of the new Classic 350 I would like to see them over here in the United States like your videos they helped with my decision making process on which motorcycle I wanted. It all depends on what type of riding you want to use it for
Congratulations Paul, and you didn't go wrong on your choice. The Himalayan is a great bike. I love mine. As far as the Meteor ... lol I am smiling the exact same way I was when I did my first Impressions of the Himalayan. Its a completely different bike, but the fun factor is huge. well so far. Stay tuned, lots more to cone from Royal Enfield on my Channel!!!! Cheers and hey, send me a pic of you and your puc for the subscriber shout out. Email addy in the description
Yup and they come in adorable colours and the chrome ones are the champs for me Also they’re road testing 650 twin cruiser with USD front fork and a roadster
Lovely review thanks. Each to their own but I prefer the blacked out exhaust model. The chrome offering looks huge. Although that bronze/ brown colour is beautiful. Enjoy the bike
You hit a wall metaphorically I take it? I have ridden mostly without a wind shield/screen my entire life. I do however, I notice having one on certain trips makes it far more enjoyable lol
this is a nice bike, I now have to choose between meteor and Himalayan, as I am not very much in the off road scene, I think I will try the Meteor. Thanks for the presentation. And it reminds me of my first bike the Honda CJ 360, a 1974 model, I loved it, when to Potugal with my girlfriend and camping gear, 7000 km in three weeks.
You definitely need to test ride both Dona. They make saddlebags for the Meteor as well, so Himi with panniers and Meteor with saddlebags and see which fits you and your passenger the best!
I fell for this bike when you uploaded this video 1 year ago, but couldn't justify getting it over the Kawasaki Vulcan S. I also wasn't too keen on the color options, but figured, through your videos, that the brown looks nice enough. Fast forward 1 year and they've just announced the Super Meteor 650. The 650 is a beauty, but it got me looking back to the Meteor 350, and when I discovered that they've released a Stellar Red color variant, I was completely sold. Sorry Vulcan and Super Meteor 650, horsepower and displacement isn't everything. I just ordered myself a Meteor 350 in Stellar red and I couldn't have been happier. Only wish I'd done it before the end of the season. But I CAN'T wait until next year!
Partially why I'm now justifying a 350cc over a 650 is because I live in Norway, and the speedlimit in my region is 50mph, and if I ever were to visit Oslo, which I still haven't in my 26 years living in Norway, the speedlimit is 75mph, which this bike can just about push out. Why pay double the price when the optimal cruising speed for this motorcycle is 55mph anyway? Then I'd be sitting on a lot of horsepower that I'd never be able to fully utilise
In a world of bike testers that usually complain 85hp is "a bit low", always refreshing to hear someone saying how much fun 20hp can be. Also your Himmy experience to comapre is valid. I much prefer the ride stance of the new classic 350 over the Meteor, only because i have to stand up and negotiage ruts and pot holes. The new engine platform seems to be even better than the 410cc at least in smootheness. Is this a long term test bike or a purchase?
Good looking bike, propably perfect for transport in a city. And fun on smaller country roads. Not everybody needs or wants a big bike. Thanks for the video, and your opinion on this one.
I plan to take the MSF course this Fall and purchase a Stellar Black model as my first bike. I love everything about it. And your video is great, and yes, a beautiful ride.
Great video. Looking forward to seeing more with this cool bike and getting your views with a two up ride also . So refreshing to see these bikes Royal Enfield are making especially the new 350 Classic. Maybe there not very fast but I think I would except that only not to have to look at another " Adventure Bike " beamed up by Mr Spock
Thanks for the vid, I've had my Fireball red for a little over a month and totally agree with you. I do get a "clunk' every time I shift. I'm in San Diego. You can't beat the price and what you get for it.
Well done! Commentary and video are excellent. I just discovered your channel and am glad I did. I'm wondering if it will do ok with 2-up. Also, is it light enough to put on the back of a C-class RV with a 500 lb tongue weight? Greetings from Put-in-Bay . . .
Welcome aboard Berni. Dont get ahead of me lol Its actually coming NEXT! Watch the video coming soon! I've spent a lot of time on the islands, mostly Kelly's though. Thanks for watching and subscribing!!!!
Great to see you out enjoying the Meteor, I have watched soooo many videos on them and most are in Hindi etc which is cool as they love them in india,But really hard for me to get all the info,Anyway after a test ride I have just booked a dark Blue Meteor Stellar.....could be up to 12 weeks wait apparently.
Yes we love the royal Enfield more than British 😁 If you are not able to find the video I am sharing a video with English th-cam.com/video/kSG05q9ktzo/w-d-xo.html
It's a nice little around town or back road bike. You really don't want to do highways on it. It is built low and scraping the pegs is pretty easy to do which makes you smile. All around an OK bike as long as you don't expect thigs it wasn't built for.
Mount Vernon Ohio would be Midohio suzuki .purchased mine at throttle co.Columbus Ohio.ridden bikes all my life.heavy tourers, have a softail and a 650 intercepted.something to be said for a lightweight comfortable bike.great for getting lost on back roads.should add I am 6’1 and 255lbs.and this bike doesn’t leave me feeling cramped
Great video Ronan I really like Royal Enfield's too.. They are a hidden secret to most... Simple technology but great value for money and look lovely. I have a Bullet 500 and love riding my bike even though it's not fast it's elegant and rustic. Bye Stuart 🙂🏴
I’ve got a Himalayan and an Interceptor, both cracking bikes. I’m gonna get a test ride on the Meteor and I’m expecting to like it a lot. Gonna wait a while before I suggest buying a Meteor; I’ve done pretty well with new bikes this year, don’t wanna push my luck 😛 Thanks for your views and opinions, excellently presented; a superb video as usual Jeff. Enjoyed the Rev bomb👍🤪 Top speed is not far short of the Himmy’s; do you think the Meteor would be happy cruising at 55 to 60? Thank you and ride safe. Cheers Neil
Very nice bike. I wonder how it would fit me at 6'4'' 😁 I bought a new 500 Bullet in '93 and it was a lot of fun on the back roads. If I were not so happy with my NC750X I might have considered one of these as a modern replacement. If I had one I would probably remove the rear seat and fit some hard panniers. Come to think of it, that would be the nearest I will ever get to a Road King...
Bloody awesome video, exactly the type of riding on exactly the same type of roads I plan on doing with a Meteor if, God willing, a few things fall into place for me in the near future. Back road cruising on a bike that's comfortable yet nimble, smaller and yet substantial- what's not to like?
I am from south India, i love Enfield motorcycles, own 500CC Classic, but the seating comfort is not good. For seating comfort Meteor is great and too with standard 350.
I'm supposed to get Stellar black meteor sometime next week. Can't wait. it's been popping everywhere in my newsfeed, and judging by the waiting lists and sale numbers, it's going to be VERY popular. I'm glad, the market for under 500 cc classic bikes and cruisers is... mediocre at best.
LOL that's the former HQ of Longaberger Basket Company. LOL It went out of business a ew years ago and has been sitting empty ever since. Yes it IS a basket!
Very nice! Do you own this now!? If so...congrats! It does seem like a fun little "around-town" kind-of easy strollin' bike (that also tops out in the low 70's speed-wise). It'll be interesting to hear your thoughts after a 1000 miles. As always...great stuff.
my 2021 Himalayan has the 4 way flashers....came in REAL handy when I got caught in a torrential downpour in one of the tropical depressions that rolled through.....and the ABS saved my ass several times when encountering deer and once for debris (a dead tree laying across the road in a corner, at night)....I really want to test ride a Meteor....my dealer can't keep one available long enough.....LOL
@@OlManRonin I hear that....the Himi is my first bike with either.....a great feature IMO...slam on both brakes expecting to skid and possibly go down, and the bike stays straight and true, brings such relief though....LOL....I heard RE is coming out with a Classic 350 for next year....wonder if that will make it to the US.....the Meteor and the Classics remind me of the RE production of Indian motorcycles in the 50's just before Indian folded
@@JiteshRout that is my fear 🤣🤣😁 I may try it out at some point....still have 4 months of payments left on my mower....which would be a monthly payment for a Meteor, or God forbid, they release the Classic 350 in the states next year....no way I could resist THAT 🤣
Great video my friend. Your a bad influence me. I’m seriously considering a Meteor. By the way I saw the the Shades ad in the lower corner right before you entered the tunnel. Ride safe my friend.
Great video. Right now my nearest dealer stocks both, the Himalayan and the Meteor, being the Himalayan just $500 bucks more than the Meteor. If you were to choose between both bikes for paved roads only, which bike will you prefer?
I will let you know. As you watch my catalog of videos, you'll see I NEVER make snap decisions or quick reviews. But stay tuned, I will offer my opinion in the following weeks. Honesty IS the best policy!
It’s a nice bike I love the coloure it’s got good breaks with ABS, you got to ride it slow to run it in don’t let it laboure 4000 revels for the first few hundred kLM,designed for sealed roads only for gravel roads you want a 450 Himalayan that’s got the suspension to handle the dirt , jimmy Australia
I thought yes, next spring , but after thinking no, lifes too short - so i ordered one about 5 weeks ago, should arrive in the next week or two, so go on treat yourself - now !!
Still gonna use my Himalayan for a truck bike , if they would only put a 6th gear on the small bikes that would be perfect 👌. But I still like it the way it is. Awesome lil ADV
I don't like the look (rather the presence) of the backrest; it should not be there at all. Everything else falls in place but it would great if they kept the styling of the Thurnderbird tank intact instead of adopting Harley style. But you should have a look at the new classic 350 recently launched in their India market- pretty much the same bike as Meteor with the same 349 cc engine but with even better looks and old school spoke wheels. In itself Meteor is a great bike though and worth giving a thought. I would have bought one had I not have my eyes set on larger cc offers from RE stable that are to be launched I believe in a year.
If you don't want the backrest, either order one of the other models of the Meteor OR simply remove it. 4 bolts. As far as looking at the Classic 350, please follow me on Instagram, we've been all over that bike on there. they won't be in the US until 2022 unfortunately, but when they are, trust me, I will ride one.
Unfortunately.... here in California, 70mph is considered the minimum to just keep up with traffic - both on the freeways and highways. Even at 70mph, you'd better keep well to the side of the roadway and be especially wary near off/on ramps to avoid getting side-swiped by some inattentive jerk.
@@OlManRonin - I keep seeing British video reviews with appreciative comments about the Meteor 350, and I can't keep from reminding myself that for most of the roads there, the Meteor is well-suited. But for the Los Angeles area, freeway commuting on it would be lethal.
@@OlManRonin Next product lineup from RE waiting to get launched, after the RE Classic. Royal Enfield is launching one model every quarter for the next 2 years. The Hunter is a 350cc modern retro while the Shotgun is a 650cc cruiser.
Great review, beautiful country. Interested in your comment the Meteor feels so light. Australian spec sheet show Meteor and Himalayan are both 191kg. My 2019 BS4 has ABS brakes as they have been a mandatory registration requirement down here for a couple of years now. Personally, I don’t understand the love for heel and toe shifters. I removed it from my 1999 Moto Guzzi California 1100 Sport back in the day. Keep up the good work.
@@OlManRonin Young? Thanks for the compliment, but I bought my first bike in 1969. Most have been sports-oriented, but I can understand a heel and toe shifter on a cruiser with running boards. Just coming out of lockdown, so planning a weekend ride for the first time in four weeks. Cheers.
I've been wanting to check one of these out, but there isn't a single one in AZ. If I were to buy one, two things I would have to change immediately would be to disable the ABS (I will not allow a computer to control my bike) and chop of the back of that heel and toe shifter. I have over a million miles on bikes with normal shifters. About 10 years ago I bought a used Goldwing with a heel and toe shifter. I barely made it home. It was clumsy and awkward to the point it made the bike almost unrideable. I thought I had made a huge mistake buying it. Then I found out it was aftermarket. I immediately replaced the floorboards and heel and toe shifter with a stock normal shifter and stock pegs. It suddenly felt 300 pounds lighter and actually handled like a motorcycle. I like small bikes. I have a Suzuki S40, also known as a Savage 650. It's a 650 single in a very small frame. But it has tube type tires, and I learned the hard way to never venture far from home with tube type tires and to always have a road service plan. Tube type tires are several times easier to puncture than tubeless tires, and when punctured, are pretty much impossible to repair beside the road, especially on a bike with no centerstand. This bike has both tubeless tires and a centerstand.
@@OlManRonin When you ride hundreds of thousands of miles with a regular shifter, then try a heel/toe shifter, it's completely different. It can also cause transmission damage if used wrong. I have owned 2 Goldwings, a 1987, and a 1993. Both came with heel/toe shifters and floorboards. I converted both back to stock. At just over 60K miles, the transmission started jumping out of fourth gear. The consensus on several Goldwing forums was the same. It was not an uncommon problem. The previous owner had likely been using the heel/toe shifter as a footrest, and keeping pressure on the internal gear change mechanism, eventually wearing it down. To fix it meant a complete engine and transmission teardown, over $4000. More than the bike was worth. I rode it that way for a while, skipping fourth gear, and then sold it cheap. In learned to never buy a used bike with a heel/toe shifter.
@@geraldscott4302 Or the problem was it was a Honda? lol just kidding. Like I said, they aren't for everyone. Ride what you like and how you like it Cheers Gerald
@@OlManRonin Not much considering the specifications. There are many sports bikes in India around that price and many which are priced much more. There are buyers for all types of bikes in the higher price range in India, though the regular bikes which normally Indians use for regular travel in the city cost from about US$ 1,000/- to US$ 1,350/- on road price including taxes and insurance. These bikes are economical in maintenance and give good milage per litre of petrol. Indians generally think on those terms when buying either bikes, scooters, cars and SUV's. Of course there are also some who don't bother about such things and may buy bikes costing US$ 10,000/- - 20,000- --30,000/- too. And there are many who buy luxury cars for half a million to a million dollars at some have fleet of such cars too. But generally people are conservative.
@@studyneetjeeupscsccgatecam1903 that's what i heard they should have given me a rebate on that, but i was told they may have misplaced it or it was accidentally broken.never heard a word from them.

It all sounds so great, what a boost in quality of life it must be.

That's awesome and congratulations. Take a pic off you and your bike and email it to me for subscriber shout out cheers

Easy peasy crusin 👏. Sounds and looks like a great addition to your stable. If I didn't already have the 500 classic this could be one for me.
Great first impressions video 👏
I only have it a month or two, but I will be riding it a bunch!!!!
Well, I have an LOVE my Classic 500 😻…. But nonetheless I finally want to ride a Meteor….
The bike has over 1200 miles on it. It feels great and unhampered. It is a 350 so there is obvious limitations. Stay tuned for the 2-up ride "review"
Good video, glad to see RE bringing their 350s to America, can't wait for the Classic to be brought to states and hopefully a reintroduction of the Classic 500. Just wish we had a dealership near me.
I'm certain more and more dealers are coming. More demand equals more supply
New 350 Classic appears to be just the Meteor w/different cosmetics. I'm sure either one is great.
@@jackvien1089 similar to the Bullet and Classic. And Continental GT650 and Interceptor 650. Subtle differences. I don’t mind. I love them all.
Finally..a bike that is what a motorcycle should be, not a two-wheeled dragster or RV.
It is a fun bike for sure
It is a fun bike for sure
Thanks Ol' Man. I love the Royal Enfield line up. I want one of each model! Have you seen the new Classic 350? Just released in India. Uses the same motor. Man such a beautiful bike. Cant wait till they reach the western countries.
Yes and I simply cant wait until they are released in the US.
First quarter of 2022
Classic 350 is a legendary bike the earlier version was released on 2013 I think and it went become a instant hit and Royal Enfield bikes are back on track , the company biggest selling bikes.

Greetings Dave, I should have it a month or so. So there should be a bunch of videos in the next several months on the amazing little bike. It Really makes me smile.
Great !! Looking forward to your appraisal of the 350 !! Thank You !! Dave
The roads, the sound, the torque, the thump, the greenery, your voice, and the motorcycle overall! Just AMAZING!!! I vicariously enjoyed the first ride man! Can't wait for my Meteor Fireball yellow trim to arrive, just weeks from now!
Welcome to the channel Abhi! Thank you so much for watching and subscribing And congratulations on your new Meteor!!!
@@OlManRonin Thanks! Superb production quality! How long did you wait for your Meteor Ronin?
Welcome Luis! It is a pleasure having you as a subscriber!! 😀
@@OlManRonin Thank you sir.
Thank you and welcome to the channel. Cheers for watching and subscribing
Your video just reinforces my decision to buy it. thank you,
your thoughts on the bike are exactly as mine.
awesomeness and congrats. Send a pic with you and your bike to my email address in the description
Thank you for the review, I really enjoyed it. This was the first of your reviews I've watched but won't be the last.
Thank you for watching Mick, and hopefully subscribing cheers
Thats a great idea Wolf Pack! I've been good this year! 😉
Just found out a few days ago that the Classic 350 with the same engine as the Meteor is coming to the states in 2022. Can't wait to get one.

Although that bronze/ brown colour is beautiful. Enjoy the bike
What a wonderful video! 😻 making me even more curious to FINALLY see and ride the Meteor in Switzerland 🇨🇭!!!
You should! Thanks for watching
You are a great reviewer, love your commentaries and style.
Put a screen on mine, day before hit a brick wall at 60 but now very happy to go just over 70!
Is this a long term test bike or a purchase?
thank you
This is very good location bro where have you shoot this.....thanks
Good looking bike, propably perfect for transport in a city. And fun on smaller country roads. Not everybody needs or wants a big bike. Thanks for the video, and your opinion on this one.

I really like Royal Enfield's too.. They are a hidden secret to most... Simple technology but great value for money and look lovely. I have a Bullet 500 and love riding my bike even though it's not fast it's elegant and rustic.

I would describe the power on that in the same way as I describe my bullet, it's a 125 on very mild steroids, but great fun to ride.
Or that lol
Front brake is 3/4 of stopping power. Rear brake is 1/4 of braking power. I think it does good.

Gonna wait a while before I suggest buying a Meteor; I’ve done pretty well with new bikes this year, don’t wanna push my luck 😛
Thanks for your views and opinions, excellently presented; a superb video as usual Jeff.

Top speed is not far short of the Himmy’s; do you think the Meteor would be happy cruising at 55 to 60?
Thank you and ride safe.

Very nice bike. I wonder how it would fit me at 6'4'' 😁
I bought a new 500 Bullet in '93 and it was a lot of fun on the back roads. If I were not so happy with my NC750X I might have considered one of these as a modern replacement.
If I had one I would probably remove the rear seat and fit some hard panniers. Come to think of it, that would be the nearest I will ever get to a Road King...

6 gears are horrible, way too much shifting.
It would be better with just 4, doesn’t even need 5.

When it comes to the US next year I will for sure
Does it not come with the wind screen in America that trim in India has wind screen automatically?
That I don't know. Great question for the factory
It's a great looking bike but the gear change linkages should have rose joints, that's going to get sloppy really quick.
Possibly? The bike has well over 1000 miles on it now. We shall see
I don't like the look (rather the presence) of the backrest; it should not be there at all.
Unfortunately.... here in California, 70mph is considered the minimum to just keep up with traffic -
both on the freeways and highways. Even at 70mph, you'd better keep well to the side of the roadway
and be especially wary near off/on ramps to avoid getting side-swiped by some inattentive jerk.
I know very well I have family in California
@@OlManRonin - I keep seeing British video reviews with appreciative comments about the Meteor 350, and I can't keep from reminding myself that for most of the roads there, the Meteor is well-suited. But for the Los Angeles area, freeway commuting on it would be lethal.

Awesomeness
You younguns. lol heel shifters aren't for everyone thsts for certain

In India a brand new new Royal Enfield Meteor costs equivalent to about US$ 3,000/- on road price including taxes and insurance.
Is that considered expensive given cost of living?
