Personally I’d suggest getting the SGB and use it to make the money for bolg. Can just equipment separator which is only 90 something invention with an extreme boost
Hey froggie, thanks for this and the melee video. Wanted to check if maybe you’re able to do a dps comparison between the full revo rotations of melee range and necromancy?
I’ve been thinking about trying range, but this convinces me it would be foolish lol. Magic will probably be buffed back into the top DPS spot soon anyway.
doesn't split soul from necro work better than buying a ECB for EOF. isnt ECB just the same split soul that lasts alittle longer? surely not worth the 800m+ to make it
I know necro is fun right now but isn’t range BIS the best dps even if it does cost like 13b for max set up, personally I am bolg, sirenic, g rico, t99, zerker ring thingy, then ive got blights and hex as a switch so just need 1b worth of eof + the weapons to go in them then the new armour, plus some things are insta locked to range e.g. rune dragons and legios
Hey as someone looking to get into other high end pvm styles after I gained a bunch of money farming using necromancy I really appreciate this whole series you're doing. Will you also go into mage? It may be awkward because it was previous BIS style but I like they way you give insight to the upgrade priority list.
T90 sirenic should really be on this list, even befire grico. Its more damage and defence than armadyl, and is basicakky negligible cost even with the degrade to dust mechanic. And even though bows are the meta right now, I would not say crossbows are completely obsolete. Ascensions, blights, and hydrix bolts are cheaper than they have ever been, and are a good stepping stone for getting used to the style. Also good for using chins with until you EOF the decimation.
Not a bad call tbh. I didn't realize that armor was 5m wtf lol. I'd def avoid getting ascs/blights bc they're kind of a waste of money. Maybe a wyvern bow would be ok as a mid tier weapon but I kinda made this of the mind of "not wasting gp on irrelevant upgrades early so you can get bolg asap"
@FroggieGames I miss my wyvern CB so much 😭😭 ranged is the last style I finally BIS'd, and even though I didn't use ranged much before, I'm really looking forward to getting into it now hah
only if you know how to use it efficiently (rotations, switches, efficient EOF usage, preparation, etc). Otherwise it feels weaker than necromancy. If you want ease of use just use necro.

I think sgb first is the play, i could do zammy 200% with his spec and easy farm my own bolg on zammy

@@FroggieGamesBlights aren't a waste for me. It's all I have for range, since the bows are so expensive. Plus, elite Sirenic has a crossbow boost.
