Between the new Phantom and the Kiowa, I don't need any other modules! Those two aircraft and how they upped the ante with features just smokes my mind. The F-4 and the Jester with the built in manual to take you straight to what you're looking for is just dope. And the Kiowa's AI pilot interface is just bangin'. Not only that, the flight model is so smooth and crisp that in only 10 hours of flying I can hop around like a jackrabbit and not even wobble. Tossing a smoke grenade out the door, then laying down cover fire while the AI drives is so much fun. I found myself saying "...get some....get some..." And remember the Golden Rule, when shooting woman and children, you just don't lead them as much! (sorry, no REAL women or children were harmed, it's my homage to Full Metal Jacket)
I flew it yesterday for the first time, just gun and rockets, but its an absolute blast to fly. Love it.
Love how they have this impressive tech on board but then draw a crosshair on the windshield with a sharpie. ;)
It does get a actual HUD but it’s set in the mission editor

I would rly love to play both grey and blue flag more but everytime I try to play the servers are basically dead. Then like once every few months it’ll be packed and the most fun I ever have in dcs
I could definitely go for some more Kiowa footage. It's a vehicle I don't see much of in DCS
The cinematics for this game are just impeccable. I never get tired of seeing it!
That TOW missile....deadly. How do you evade those? They are laser guided right? Laser jammers?

They had doors. See the yellow door jettison handle?

@warthy4889 yes, made observation easier. Also sucked when firing the .50.
Typically if it was really cold or the aircraft was relocating they would put the doors on.
