The fact that you mentioned the tile price and shop, where you got your light fixtures, backsplash and kitchen sink and washer are really helpful tools that others can use. 89k is a lot for a kitchen and withholding service providers is neither here nor there as most of us can find affordable labour, but how much were your cupboards? Where did you get them from? Did you get them as standard built-ins is it custom? In short, I think that people are just asking for concrete pointers in the right direction. And the example of the cupboard questions is a way to give those without disclosing what you spent. Disclaimer: I am currently looking at a kitchen remodel and it's been quite useful to have those discussions with people who recently remodeled as I now have a better understanding of the cost of items and I am now making the necessary tweaks to my budget.
