If the door clip (lantern clip) is in that position, you've broken the dog housing bracket on the door. It's hardly worth removing it unless you're replacing the door card.
Perhaps you would be surprised to hear how often the manufacturer has poor castings on the clip housings, resulting in clips being left behind with an intact door card removed.
The Spanish, Chinese, English, Russian, etc all agree. Thr right tool, for the right job, makes life much easier. We all agree on at least 1 thing, lol.
I'm a mechanic, that body clip remover is better than the standard type. It works against itself instead of having to pry against the vehicle. Where can I get that?
