Incredible soloist, but most of all BREATHTAKINGLY GREAT DIRECTION. This conductor has nailed the balance, the dynamics, the phrasing and articulation. An excellent performance in every way!

I was tracking through numerous TH-cam Loren Allen videos and eventually arrived here. This is now one of my favorite videos. I love seeing young people enjoying vocal performance. This is a great performance of a timeless classic. Ms. Allred's vocals are a bonus. Thanks for posting this performance.

I sang this in high school. It was something we did with every choir in our district and in total there was about 120 people, its a small district in a small community, and it was an amazing experience.
The soloist is the daughter of the voice director and conductor (Brady Allred)

Doing research for Loren Allred video in regards to her new single for FF7 Rebirth in which she collabed with the legendary composer Nobuo Uematsu. No Promises to Keep. This will hopefully take her to even higher highs.

Juan Flores Maybe its the region of where they live? Complaining about diversity completely takes away from what this is; a GREAT performance. So disappointing.
Why does that even matter? No one complains that Japan or Nigeria isn't "diverse enough."

It is disappointing that for a gospel song the chorus is overwhelmingly white. The soloist didn't even try to capture the nature of gospel singing.

This is in Utah and is a high school retreat. Lack of diversity owes to the fact that there aren’t many students of color in the area that are in the choirs here. Also, Loren Allred killed it here. No, she wasn’t gospel, but very much gospel-adjacent. She knows when to go all out and has since become very famous for Greatest Showman and sung with incredible people as well.
