my anthurium imports have been shipping way better than philos this summer. Also on the chlorospatha don't throw it away! As long as the stem isn't rotted you can rehab it. just put it in a cup with some wet perlite and put a ziplock bag over it, place it in an area with light and it WILL live again lol. It takes a minute but I brought mine back from the grave and now its thriving in ambient humidity. They just hate to dry out.
The philodendron furcatum is one of my top wishlist plants! It's supposed to be so difficult that I know I'll be outclassed though. I've been constantly ordering it with the mentality that it's like a bouquet of flowers -- meant to be replaced.

I had an adelonema corrugado on my last Tropicals order that I canceled off because I know there’s not enough humidity in the world to keep that plant alive.
I just got my shipment from them and the verrucosum I ordered also came toastteeedddddd 😢 no viable roots in sight! I chopped up the only green vine left in hopes of getting some wet sticks to grow back. Fingers crossed 🤞🏽

Babaaaayy that thing came in roasted and toasted, even worse than yours. leaves crispy and bIackkkk. i got a partial refund but threw the whole plant in the trash because I already have enough rehabs to deal with. The other plants in my order were fine but like you I really need to take a break from the foreigns. And pant buying in general. Need to put myself on a time out and refocus. Them plants tho. Girl that box was a whole mess. Glad you got your money back.

Hey girl hey! Yea I'm curious about the refund. I haven't bought any plants since April. I bought 8-10 imported plants and they were doing great, then got spider mites and that was the end of it. I was throwing plants away left and right and then lost my excitement for plants. I have 3 foreigns left out of maybe 12. They are doing okay but I probably won't buy anymore plants until next year or until I get my mojo back. I've also been propagating some of them so I have some multiples which makes me feel like I still have a lot lol

However they must get them ready for shipping as soon as we pay. I can’t see how the moss is so dry. You pick nice plants, but those “lows” break your heart. As much as the addiction to the live sales have been going, you should get a refund. You have brought Gilberto many customers. Be well and update us on his response. 🌿🪴

Shipping has worked out to be $25 minimum with each plant costing around $5 to ship. & yea you can remove whatever you don’t want.
