Madame Xanadu was in DC's Swamp Thing series. Unfortunately only one season but very good.

Yes you are right! Zatanna is a descendant form the Homo Magi
Her father is also a magician named Giovanni Zatara her cousin's name is Zachary.
That means she a hybrid of human and Homo Magi but is still Homo Magi due to their genes being more dominant.

Movie idea: Constantine 2, at the end, Madam Xanadu appears, telling him the end of the world is nigh, (taking the idea from Justice League Dark vol 1) and Boom!! The set up for a JLD movie!!
I know no one cares, but I like her so much, I used her as Nimue in a minor role in a clean fanfiction loosely based on an old movie called Siege of the Saxons about the daughter of King Arthur! Things change when Shi Ki Lung, a 500 year old Gold Dragon in human form, and martial arts mistress is sent to 'Briton' to save King Arthur. Modred is one of the big Bads, Morgan Le Fey is in it, but is a bit more sympathetic. Her 2 headed Dragon is another matter.

How about Merlin whom even the full-powered Xanadu couldn't even match? Merlin is the greatest sorcerer?
1. It is believed that most of her original power has returned to her, not all of it. So yes she was more powerful in her younger days.
2. Yes Merlin is one of the most powerful sorcerers in the universe, and is rarely seen in the comics.
@@ComicOrigins Well, it makes sense! Merlin is the most famous wizard in the story of King Arthur. Even Merlin in the novel was said to be the hybrid of human and demon. So, when DC adopted this 'Merlin' character, DC should make him a great wizard as well 😁
