ABOUT ME I grew up in a cabinet shop and was a born to be a woodworker. In the past few years when work slowed in the custom cabinet industry, I converted a few friends Vans and SUV's so they had more storage for adventuring, work, or just the weekend beach getaway. Before I knew it I had my own business making people's ideas come to life. I design and build all kinds of custom woodwork and vehicles here at my shop in Huntington Beach, California! In my humble (but accurate) opinion, your builds are getting better and better! I love the triangular cubbie holes that get wider as they come up. The fact that she can separate her cooking gear in the pull-out back drawer from her clothes inside. The night stand drawer will probably easily accommodate electronics and chargers.
This is such a nice, crisp build. I wish my cuts were all so clean! I know with time I might get better but I’ll never get as good as you! Nice job!

Agree. Maybe install a bracket (could be removable) to hold the sprayer next to the sink. That would free up both hands when using the sink.

This is an absolutely beautiful build! I love the simplicity and ease of functionality, which masks the skill and planning that must have gone into it. The conversion of the bed from single to full is genius and artistic! I really like the "shower" feature, as well. Very clever. Thank you for sharing this. It's a work of art!

Awesome! I can just envision the owner kicking back in there sitting in her PMC camper at the beach after a surf session after a day of work in LA. Relaxing, doing some emails, having a smoothie and may staying overnight for the dawn patrol session before day 2 in LA. Beautiful build.

Cool. But . . . it's going to be HOT in there. As there was no mention of insulation & a lot of exposed metal heat bridges, maybe add a 2nd (small) fan to circulate the air when the vehicle is closed up. That'll improve the efficiency of the food cooler too.

Well done! Been thinking of the same layout for my metris! May have the fridge on the passenger side to make room for my Laveo dry flush. Before your video, I was thinking of the slats with the pull out for the bed, but you convinced me of going with the hinge and drawer system - great functionality!

Excellent work as always! You packed A LOT of functionality into that (pretty small) van. I'm sure your customer will be very pleased. The '70's van portal window is nice retro touch. I'd be REALLY tempted to do a fake business logo on the side, say "Black Sun Surfing?" Then make the portal the sun.

Like your work ! One suggestion on this one, on the right side between the two covey holes, I would have put a slide out board/table (flush when closed, mounted on locking slides) to set her laptop on. Right where you are sitting at the end of the video, it would've been perfect because to set the laptop on the countertop and be able to use it is a little impractical.
