Today's video is about testing the brand new LVFR a330 for Xbox and PC that was announced earlier this week, let's see what it has to offer! Footage is taken on Xbox Series X in 4K. I personally like the aircraft, it offers a good flight model, but I expect much more from LVFR with more polishing all around.

I bought this it is a bit underwhelming but given that LVFR constantly improves and upgrades their aircraft I find this to be a serviceable aircraft especially for the Xbox user that has a long haul itch to have scratched.

is it worth buying (xbox series x)? new to flight sim, love flying the default a320, but struggle with the boeings, so toying with getting this so as I can transfer my 320 knowledge to flying this
@@jackhopkins9618 I personally don’t recommend it. This December I bought a full blown gaming computer. There was just so many limitations with Xbox. I’ve been simming since the late 1980’s and bought the Xbox to get back into flight sim. It worked for a while but then you see what the community is able to do and you just realize how handicapped you are on the console.

Thank you for the review! Shame about the poorly modeled cabin and the framerate stutters. I think it would've been a better choice not to have a cabin and save performance instead, like in the default aircraft. I'll stick with LVFR's A32X family, as they have similar modeling issues but at least run smoother. This plane has potential but not worth so much money for me in its current state.

Why would you stay with the LVFR series when Fenix will be coming out with the highest fidelity ones for only a few dollars more? LVFR's products are just hot trash to me. (Edit: This plane is useless to PC users because of the headwind a330-900, which is still better IMO.)
Because maybe they don't want to wait two years for unfinished features.@@LilW.
The upper ECAM information is wrong....
The upper ECAM should present N1 & N3 not N1 & N2, because this is RR T7000 ENG not CF6-80E1 ENG.

did you recorded on XBOX? if yes, does your tablet properly? mine its all messed up and buttons are in wrong places or something like that

May be usefull to get your comment on many reported issues about CTD''s and black screens with LatinVFR 330-900 with Xbox.

Yes I think it needs a patch to correct all small model issues in the cabin, Efb, performance and then it will proudly be a great mid-price/level airliner

Hello captainkenobi I was wondering if you can help me out…I want to get the a330-900neo but can’t download due to not having enough disk space even after deleting other things…any solution and am on Xbox btw
Hi! Well that's quite easy. If you invest in MSFS one thing that they did not tell you is that you have to sacrifice almost all your hard drive 😅 Delete a game on your console, delete big world updates of region you barely fly and you should be fine. The a330 is quite big indeed.
Bought it but I think it needs a big update on xbox x in order to make it as good as high tear brands. Considering asking my money back. How can I do that since I've never done this.
Maybe try Xbox support first

I was considering buying this, but the comments i have seen from people are very mixed, and its not as if its all that cheap either.

when i fly it and turn autopilot on it starts nosediving

It really seems like they rushed to get this plane finished. IMO all of LVFR's products are hot garbage, a waste of money. Just use the headwind a330-900! It's better, and it's free! Also all of LVFR's planes use the FTsim soundpacks which are nice on the widebodies but not so great on the narrowbodies. I won't be buying this because I'm happy with the headwind a330-900, and the fenix a320 for the narrowbodies.
You cannot use the Headwind a330 on Xbox ;) It's a challenging platform due to Series X but mainly Series S limitations, but some developers manage to give really good products no matter the hardware. You just need to adapt and find clever solutions.
Honestly just get the headwind a330 for free and save your money for something like the crj or atr or 737 something like that

Nope
No, are you sure you don't have assistance turned on in the settings? Have you cleared your rolling cache recently? There's not much I can think of
@@CaptainKenobi I’ll try clearing the rolling cache and I don’t have many assistance turned on, it’s never affected the other airbus’s that I fly
Are you putting the throttles in the correct position? I guess you know already if you have flown airbus before
@@CaptainKenobi it has no problem reaching its altitude but when it does I put it into auto throttle and it just glitches out by dropping revs (?) back and forth, eventually just dropping loads of speed

Yeah, I bought it, and unfortunately my sim either crashes, the frame rate causes the instruments to go dark and even the Aircraft to loose control when in the air. So at the moment, I am just going to wait for an update, and hopefully it’s fixed.

@@CaptainKenobi unfortunately yeah, will be getting a PC. But I understand Xbox has been having this issue for a while now.
Products that are not well optimized do this but I know people who fly the Pmdg 737 on Series S with no issues. At least before SU13...
@@CaptainKenobi Yeah it’s weird, I work away so I use my Series S when I am working away, currently running on it now and it seems okay at the moment, but family using my X says that it runs perfectly fine.
Even after the update, the aircraft does not turn on the ground and the sounds of the engines, especially when they start up, are very low.
I just hope they keep updating it

I play Xbox and my 747 avionics don’t work never have so do you recommend this for doing long hauls
Tried it. Cockpit is better than anything else they have done so far, big improvement over the 318, 319, 320, 321. They actually put some effort into it. Flight model needs a lot of work from what little time I spent with it. Pitch is twitchy as hell and it doesn't seem to hold. Seems a bit sluggish in the air. 4 landings and she's a floater and as others have said, the nosewheel does not want to come down. I shouldn't have 4 straight -75 and less FPM touchdowns when my avg in the PMDG is -125 to -150 and around the same on the Fenix and FBW stuff. -175 to -200 on the Kuro 787 on a good day so I would expect similar here. Cabin window views are OK. Exterior model is OK. No black screens. Folks, you aren't going to get PMDG quality for $34. It's really not as bad as some have said. Hopefully they will get these glaring issues worked out pretty quick.
The A330 in general is a floater and lands insanely smoothly by nature.
Several flights last night and I gotta say I'm putting this one away until the vertical pitch control is fixed. Even with sensitivity set at 50% and reactivity to 10%, this is just to jumpy for me, should not handle like a Cessna. Also seems to be no sense of speed in this for some reason.@@TUIfly_simpilot

All negatives to the side. This is a great airliner on the xbox store for beginners to airbus. And i find if you spawn in with your avionics not turning on, that has to do with the location you chose to start at. Some spots are bugged for this plane and the a320. I get this bug sometimes with the alt select stuck at 100ft. When that happens keep turning the alt select knob to the right and eventually it will "unstick" from 100ft selected alt. Ive put alot of time into this plane and ive only crashed due to my own mistakes, but one time while flying my avionics screens all blacked out.
That cabin is horrible

Just get the headwind a330 it does not have a cabin but it is very realistic and it is free especially if you get the headwind installer it installs it to msfs for you and comes with a few livery’s

@@rysiek_7 it’s probably just a bug try setting all the cargo weight to 0 on the efb it worked for me tell me if it helps:)
In my case im fliying normally cruise alt and speed and then suddenly for no reason my plane goes crazy and straight to the ground, absolutely impossible to control it, does this happens to u guys? any fix? thnks in advance

As I said in a video recently it begins to be really hard to review and recommend aircraft or add-ons on Xbox because it can be so much different from one console to another 😐 I've seen people saying they had a lot of issues with this plane but I only had one crash since I bought it... If you like Airbus yes, why not! But the plane is not perfect, as you can see in the video ;)

It's absolutely not worth the price, not even for 1 Euro! Autoflight is close to standard Asobo A320 level 2 years ago. I will reclaim my money back.
Yeah it's based on the same systems like all their products and here it's a bit improved
