MY FIRST TIME RACING A SAILBOAT

My first time sailing in a regatta race. The Champaign Challenge is a handicap race starting from the outer buoy on the river Exe and eventually ending up in Brixham. This is a very popular race amongst many of the sailing clubs based on the river Exe. A moody 33s was never meant for racing but since this was a handicap, I thought I would give it a try. Sea Pigeon ended up coming 4th in its class so I was pleasantly surprised. This was very hard to film as Nigel, the captain, continually had me on the winches trimming the sails. This was great fun and I will certainly enter it again next year.
