    I really enyoy your channel, you compare a lot of equipment that is very interesting, the tracks you use sound amazingly good on my main system, and your kid always put a smile on my face. A few months ago, I bought a Rega Elex R, after many other amplifiers that passed through my room, my system acquired another dimension, I have read that Elex R it makes a very good match with dali R2, unfortunately, the local supplier only brings the Rubicon 2 on request, I hope one day I have them in demo. Greetings.

    I think the Dynes have more in the harmonics and a slightly fuller sound but the DALIs impressed me here. Both very tight. The mid and upper range DALIs are very good. Spoiler: I have Dynaudio X-34s.

    Both are musical with their own house sound. However whenever the Dali came on my listening would straight away pick up more the differences in body or texture of the different instruments showing the contrasts as if Dali was using a different live microphone to record the band in comparison to the microphone used by Dynaudio (this is only an anology to explain the differences)

      Yes, both are excellent, Can't go wrong with any of the 2. Rubicons are much more resolving & layered at the expense of sounding a bit aggressive or a bit lean in the vocals. The dynaudios OTOH have a more even and realistic tonal balance.

      @@Anand.Asrani sorry for the late response. i havent heard the arias in person. The X18 have very neutral and laidback midrange which comes at the cost of being too refined. From online demos, the Focal is more lively/fun but maybe a bit boxy in the mids. Dynaudios will be the more neutral/refined, the Focal will be the more Fun / engaging IMO.

    Just a quick listen and while I liked both speakers, the differences to me were I thought the Dyns sounded a bit more ethereal while the Dalis sounded a bit more live sounding, closer to if you were at the venue or sounding more like being at the performance itself.

    Due diffusori interessanti, di notevole valore musicale. La mia preferenza va al Dynaudio per maggiore naturalezza e completezza timbrica. Ma vorrei ancora rimarcare le qualità fuori dalla mischia dell'amplificatore. Davvero straordinario quell'Onkyo a9150! Lo considero assolutamente fuori dalla sua classe di prezzo. E il fatto che sia lui a guidare diffusori di tale pregio credo sia lì a dimostrarlo. Ascoltato anche in confronti con altre amplificazioni molto più blasonate e costose, mi ha sempre lasciato un tangibile senso di superiorità. Sento di fare un complimento a chi in queste audizioni, ha avuto la capacità e sensibilità di coglierne il valore musicale, senza preclusioni o pregiudizi. L'ha fatto con sicurezza e coraggio. Un saluto

    Super interesting. Don’t know if it’s TH-cam but the Dynaudio sounds like they have a bit too much low end ? If not I like their sound signature more than the Dalis. The soundstage on the Dynaudio sounded amazing. And I think bonamassa even sounded more natural on them as well. What do you think?
    The Dali sound like they thin out or something.

    • @mykeldg
      @mykeldg  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nikos Kamesas its possibly also your listening device or iem/headphone which may not be neutral. In real life the dyn have tight but robust bass. I notice this too when listening via iem. It can also be my room or recording device.

    • @mykeldg
      @mykeldg  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Nikos Kamesas regarding dali sound, i think they can sound thin but only when compared directly to the dynes since the dynes are dead neutral. But the dalis have better resolving power, more spatial and 3d qualities but yes at the expense of sounding a bit lean on vocals.

    It is obvious that Dynaudios have much wider soundstage and go much deeper with bass. In direct comparison Dali's sound constrained, with narrower soundstage, not as deep, but with greater warmth. My ideal would be a combination of Dynaudio's width and depth and Dali's warmth !
