  • We decided to cast a bottle of the Nelk Boys' favourite drink for fun, we also delivered the river rock countertop in Edmonton, and we poured multiple tables and art pieces.

    Seeing the atmosphere of the landscape what else would you put in that space but a river rock countertop, it makes sense.

    Loved the final assembly for the river rock countertop!! I think the concept of casting different objects in resin could easily be a new niche revenue stream for y’all!!! The potential (as I see it) is enormous. I think once you perfect the technique and are able to make it crystal clear, it could be great for y’all!!

    The river rock counter top looks great,fabulous job,nice house. I really like that wall art piece,I want to see that finished. Not so impressed with the beer bottle in resin, I just have to ask WHY or is it just because you can! Keep up the great work guys, look forward to the next vid. Cheers.

      The corona bottle was just something for fun for the Nelk Boys because they have been waiting for us to be able to deliver their table because of the travel restrictions cause of corona, so it's like a thank you for them being patient! 😄

      We did not, the glass and liquid kept it heavy enough to prevent it from floating!

    I love the videos every week, but what if you did an episode per each piece, I think the consistency and satisfaction of watching a project from begging to end would be pretty successful, just a thought. Honestly loving the channel tho so keep up the great work!

    id have drilled the bottom drained the beer and filled it with Carona colored resin myself (a little clear first then the pale yellow so it still looked filled)

    Would there have been a downside to doing the bottle pour in 2? since it’s pure clear would you be able to see a seam between the two layers?

    You should have poured a final flood coat to make it shiny. It’s still really cool but I like it more glossy.

    Really surprised you guys don’t use some kind of vacuum chamber to get the bubbles out. Does it not work on that epoxy?

      this brand of epoxy gets rid of its own bubbles. I love working with it.

    What epoxy do you use to pour that deep? I thought the deep pour only did 2’’.

      We used our Deep, you 2" is what's recommended but if you go extra lengths to keep it cool you can pour way thicker!
