- Hey y'all. This video is about my experience with bigen hair dye on my relaxed hair. It is kind of a review video. Y'all know my grays are hella disrespectful and I ventured out to try something new to keep them dyed black. I hope you enjoy the video!

I used the permanent black for a long time no problem when it was still made in Japan another country has the brand and changed the formula every time I shampooed even 3 weeks later it ran out like I just dyed it. I mixed lemon juice with Dawn dish soap left it on for an hour wearing a shower cap acid in lemon helps pull it out you can also use a few drops of lemon oil, hope this helps
Girl I feel you. it turned my hair a greenish brown and then I had a bad reaction to it. I would not recommend this product either. On another note, I love your videos and your style techniques, keep doing what you do.

OMGGGGGGGG! I bought some of this crap a couple of weeks ago. It DID NOT take. I thought maybe I didn't leave it in long enough. So, I tried it again. This is and was a complete waste of my five dollars. And yes, it dried my hair out so bad!!
My natural hair is that weird color too. I just rinsed out Bigen at the moment. Im literally conditioning my hair. Pray for me. My grays are disrespectful too. We will see

Adore jet black hair rinse (purple bottle) loooovvve it because it lasts sooo long!
I've seen that one, but I've never tried it. I may give it a whirl and see. I'm a skeptic though.
If you want a good hair dye try the liquid henna hair dry. The cost is about $14-$16 a bottle depening on the area you live. I've been using it for about a year to dye my stubborn grey in tge front of my hair and it works great. It has aslo changed the overall health of my hair for the better. Try it.
nisa60604 Can I use the henna hair dye on hair that was previously colored with something else a few months ago? I heard that henna sometimes have a reaction with other hair color.

I looked into henna a lot when I was natural, but I always decided against it. It always seemed like a lot of work, but I know it's good for the overall health of your hair.

I use the liquid henna hair dye. I don't have time to mix any powders.
Bigen dye really made a mess of my hair that I had to chop it all off. It damaged my hair so badly. Will never put that in my hair again

Oh hell no that shit sent me straight to the emergency room... I had an allergic reaction to it... Just horrible... But my stylist said they changed the formula.. I use to use it years ago& it worked fine... The Dr at the emergency room said alot of ppl have been having allergic reactions to the new formula...
OMG! That's crazy. Someone else commented that the formula changed and that's it was better before. Either way, I'm done with it. I hope you were ok after your ER visit.

i’m currently trying to take this crap out of my hair. i ended up bleaching my hair and the part when i used to apply the bigen has turned to a dark red color. do you have any advice on how to remove this color? i hate it so much
I use that to tint my brows. I've used that brand semipermanent color. It wasn't that good though.

Someone in the comments told me you're not supposed to wash your hair for a few days after. I didn't know that. That might have had something to do with it.

Ashes lol it shall return to the earth, Kaye i tried this crap years ago colored conditioned and then blew dry my hair LITERALLY all over my bathroom my hair was coming out like crazy.. love your makeup. Whats your best box jet black dye?
Oh no! I like Clairol 51D the best. Next I'd say Age Beautiful - it's really good and gentle on my hair & scalp. That's pretty much all I use and would recommend.

Ion @ Sally's has a great semi permanent that is bomb if you're trying not dye your hair so much. They revamped it. I liked it before; it was good but now better. It lasts for 10-15 shampoos. I use the black.😁
And Bigen was good 20 yrs ago. It's HORRIBLE now

I've been using Bigen for my grays for years but what they fail to tell you is you can't wash or wet your hair for the first 7-10 days.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, really! I wish I knew that. I wash my hair frequently, so that won't work for me. I didn't know that. How did you find that out?
