Me too. What's wild is I also had Descent, Rebel Assault, X-Wing, and a few other classics, but I still definitely spent a fair amount of time on this. I placed... A lot of spiders outside

I have been trying to find this game for nearly a decade. All I could remember was walking around a computer chip.
My dad let me play this at his school where he was a teacher so we never owned it. But I have such fond memories since I could play it while my dad graded papers. Normally, I'd only see him after dinner for a little bit before bed but playing this kept me entertained enough that I was allowed to spend afternoons with my dad without issue.

I googled Old School Treehouse game and almost cried when it came right up on the search.
The theme started and I legit started crying!

Oh wow. At first the game looked only vaguely familiar to me, but when I heard the "Hangin' out at the treehouse" song, it all came rushing back.

Ahhh this brings back memories. My parents stressed education growing up. With my father's love for computers, acquiring this game was his way of supporting my development.

So many memories... I remember you would only get a certain amount of time to use the computer and it would only happen once a week or something. You'd be so psyched to jump on and play Lemmings, Spectre or Treehouse :')

wow this game really takes me back. Not only was this my first game I played on a PC "PackardBell" I also remember eating my first mcdonalds hamburger while playing this game lol.
The phrase that keeps repeating in my head is "during a storm" hahah i dont remember that part of it but i remember little bits of it. Crazy!

To this day, my siblings or I will call eachother up just to say "During a storm!" "During an eclipse!" or "On Moon Miranda!" and hang up. lol
I'm always humming Windir - Journey to the End and my mom is always like "Is that the theme to The Treehouse?" It would certainly blow my mind if anyone can relate to this.

I remember playing this game in kindergarten! This and a Mickey mouse matching game.
I have the mac version of this and it comes with a cassette of this song. The mac intro is a little bit fancier.
This doesn’t feature all the activities this game had to offer. One I particularly liked was sorting animals between diurnal and nocturnal. And another one I can only remember where the voice would go: in the jungle... they don’t make games like they used to! So many features, it’s a masterpiece.

Oh my god, someone else remembers that part, too! The diurnal/nocturnal part was literally all of this game that I could remember, but I took to Google today determined to find out what game I was recalling that from, and here I am! Omg so many childhood memories!!!

The game uses .DAT files that cannot be opened even with .Dat file converter. How do you rip the awkard format?
