    The problem with Arsenal fan base is there are too many "know it all" fans who basically knows better than even the manager himself, Mikel Arteta has my 100% backing anytime any day on this Kai Havertz issue, it needs time for these deluded fans to see what he see tho.

      Exactly. I am an arsenal fan, but it’s fair to say we have these football manager fans who think they know better. Arteta & co are doing things that are 5 steps ahead of what any fan is even contemplating to think. Trust me. We just need patience

    • @Brandywine92
      @Brandywine92 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@yooyoo8637There's opinions, and then there are statements about a player that are too strong and over-critical, especially after a very small handful of games. And so frequent that it becomes a chorus which must be a bit harassing for the player/manager. The media is responsible for this also. As far as I'm concerned, these opinions turned to pitchforks after a string of bad passes. Remember the booing of Eboue? That was bang out of order. I've also noticed some crazy fans calling for Arteta out because of his decision making and tactics, yet the reality is it's only one draw. A lot of our entitled fanbase need to chill out and back the F down. What I'd like is too see people analysing things fairly and seeing positives, not just negatives. Arteta is right, it's just the goals missing. He played well in the community shield and against Palace, breaking up play and finding space, but unfortunately couldn't convert chances. Hopefully Havertz is given the time by the fans and media to gain confidence. Unbelievable for me to say that because it's the managers decision..

      @@yooyoo8637 not what I am saying at all, but it’s fair to say the fan opinion is highly reactionary, and largely is proven to be wrong. There’s a weird certain level of entitlement among our fan base, which is why other fans can’t stand us.

    I trust Mikel. If he backs Kai then so will I. It’s pretty clear the main thing he’s lacking is confidence so it’s the right decision to stick with him if were winning games. I do think it’ll take a year or two before we see the best of him but I didn’t expect us to win the league this year anyway, just to put in a respectable challenge, improve on our points tally, finish second and win a trophy. We can assess if he’s made a mistake on sticking by him when it becomes clear we’re not going to do any of those things. Till then, trust the man who got us into this position. ❤

Gabriel, White and Xhaka are examples where you could see visible improvement over games. The fact that Havertz is not showing that is what frustrates us fans. Yes it is too early, but there is no doubt it is costing us goals and performances. The other players are having to carry him and cover for him when there are already so many injuries. Even if it dosen't work out with Havertz, the fact Arteta is believing in him and giving him time will go a long way. If he ends up being a super sub he will still be committed and with a positive mindset to try to help the team. Look how Jorginho celebrated Rice's goal yesterday. The subs need to be happy and motivated too. Arteta knows to manage a dressing room. There is a much wider picture people are missing. But in general I believe Havertz will be great. He was a monster at Leverkuzen and he has many Germany caps for a reason.

    People are talking like Havertz is just new to England. He's been abysmal for three years in the PL. He's not going to blossom into some star player. He might get a bit better but he can't exactly get any worse either

    Well not all players are the same. While what he's saying isn't wrong, you can't expect every single player to develop the way you want them to. Plus Bukayo Saka wasn't really a LB, yes he played there but his main position was actually LW.

  • @AG-zo6pv
    @AG-zo6pv ปีที่แล้ว

    Point made but with 3 strawmen. Saka was a LW - he did really well as a make-shift LB but we didn't want to keep him there. Gabriel was always supported and the fans were right to want him playing - we'd have won vs Fulham. Finally, we didn't think it was a catastrophy to buy another top class keeper - the fans were confused and debated; the media spun a narrative.
    The best argument would be Vieira who I was convinced was not good enough for this team, and now he's started to pull his weight. Also, the Xhaka transformation if last season.

  • @Mobilegamer-xm9sd
    @Mobilegamer-xm9sd ปีที่แล้ว

    I feel like Arteta signed him because he doesn’t care about what Kai did 3 years ago he only cares about his current form and he wants to bring his potential out I think the reason why he’s putting Havertz on start is so he can see how he will perform but I think he needs more time to see Havertz weaknesses and strengths which is why he’s being put in the start for each match but Arteta and Havertz both need some time

      Chelsea didn't play him in the position which he excelled at before they bought him. He's had 3 years playing striker, of course he is going to take a while to adjust, especially given that Zinchenko hasn't been starting, which unbalances the side.
