Remember it was much more difficult to even get to it and much more slower. 5. Goku ready to give power to enemies. That gives you another philosophical lesson. While goku is fighting Jiren's skill he is NOT fighting JIren as a person and the amount of depth needed to separate these two is immense. This gives you a glimpse also into goku as even though he is behaviorally naive he has a depth of perspective intrinsic to him that other brilliant people achieve after a lot of study and reasoning. Another ZEN idea to behold 6. Jiren really searching and the answer tearing him apart that his source of power and his power itself both can be trumped. His shot at goku's friends wasn't merely a power show off but an expression of this struggle. You see how he conceded defeat when he is LYING DOWN and goku says 'you know' and he feels sad and shameful + unable to take it so breaks eye contact with goku.
