Re: Hokusai, Bakin was a famous Japanese novelist and the event is named after his most famous book. Hokusai did a lot of collaborations with Bakin to make some illustrated books together when they were alive so naturally for a Bakin event, Hokusai is a bonus servant.
Bakin and Hokusai are actually IRL aquintances thats why she has a buff!

This is going to be my first event returning to the game. I came back around the tail-end of the Super Bunyan event and missed the welfare Servant from Water Crisis, rolled Castoria, NP3'd my Penth, and now I'm looking forward to making her hit even harder. Also Izou and Tametomo will definitely pad out my roster since my main Archer is Sith, and she's Quick. Need a Buster Archer for that sweet, sweet Buster Chain NP-ing. I JUST started Avalon le Fae and I'm ready to cry.
I want her , tametomo , I want every one. And I have 10 sq frag and 5000 sq worth of cope 😭.

I have two copies of Izo and it only took me until his third rate up to get that first one... Did get Munenori, Okita, Okita J, and NobuZerker in the process, at least...
I guess I could throw in a multi or 2 for Bakin. Since we are getting some SQ for Anniversary anyway I could use for summer banners. Don't care about archetype. But then again I do have a lot of AOE rider already like Lolivinci, Archille, Oddyseus and Drake
Bakin is not a painter. She (or rather he) is a writer. Hokusai had a hand in illustrating some of his works in the past.
I feel like I've always enjoyed the FGO stories even though some events have really lousy mechanics (cough Requiem cough) so I'm pretty much always excited when there are new stories. Don't need Bakin or Tametomo so I'll save up some more for Arceuid and not do any pulls.
