      @Miguel Umoren basically it’s hardy for the defense to relax because you go in and out of max effort to a more IQ based game switching in and out makes your bag seem way bigger than it even is cheat code.

    Hi,
    I tried doing the guided basketball meditation that you put out a while ago. I tried to sit as you pointed out, but I just didn´t feel comfortable at all and ended up laying in bed. The meditation ended up still feeling really good, but I don't think doing that is optimal for meditating. Do you have any tips on how to make it more comfortable or maybe a different position that might work as well? Also, when I graduate after doing this for a few weeks daily, how long are the unguided meditations supposed to be?

    Deep game is tuff I had a game last night and I reviewed the 8 laws but I was so locked in I started playing bad and then went into a downward spiral (what I learned is that I have to be happy or in a good mood before I start to lock in)

      @Miguel Umoren well im in the off season as of right now but it just helps you play more aggressive when you need to and relax when you need to, kinda like change of speeds on offense. It really does help if you apply them to your game. Trust me, i wish i would've seen this video before the season ended

    You stated the task you are currently doing is what you should be focused on; in previous videos you gave the suggestion to read while eating, if I do so I won’t be focused on eating.

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You make a good observation. For simple things like eating, doing another thing for productivity at the same time isn't too much of an issue, but if you'd like to focus on it alone then you can do that as well.

    one thing I don´t understand is how personalities like Kobe and MJ, they were extremely obsessed with basketball, extremely hard on themselves, extremely hard on their teammates, and very focused on winning. That seems very different from law of reverse effort, why were they so successful in the court?

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Law of Reverse Effort doesn't mean not working hard. Rather, it typically refers to the mental grasping of a goal, rather than focusing on the present moment and what can be done within it. Kobe especially was really good at this, later in his career.

    The trick is to do shit that is borderline dirty and just act like it’s normal, if you’re out there hand checking and elbowing ppl and acting like a badass you’re gonna get retaliation. But if you just do it and be casual and not even make eye contact with whoever you’re mauling the refs give you respect.

      This is better. This is the mental game of basketball. Which is probably more important. Because if you look at some of the top players in college then went to nba. There’s a 70% chance they become a bust. Because their mental game isn’t there. It’s too much pressure. They start playing dumb. But when you watch these vids it teaches you how to counter that stuff

    How do you deal with losing a game after a committed winning mentality before you play?

    • @cedricasdfghjkl9151
      @cedricasdfghjkl9151 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      You just avoid (if you can) to have this mentality in the first place. Just play for the fun of the game itself. Just love every moment of it. In the video "the ONLY reason to play Basketball, only this matters" (I think that's the name of it), it explains how you basically avoid any of this to even happen. And in the game "how to make your game effortless", it explains, how to deal with all of this, even if you lose a very important game. Go and watch these videos. May them help you 🍀.
