Raag Kirwani is actually a Carnatic Music Ka Raag. Carnatic Music has 72 thaats out of which one thaat has Ga & Dha Komal. So, Kirwani falls in that Thaat
@@niknuratirah6343 No. In Carnatic music, the sampoorna ragas or ragas with the saptaswaras are of 72 in number i.e; Melakarta ragams. Out of that the 72 ragas, they are divided into two groups (36 ragas each) ones having Shuddha Madhyamam (in Hindustani , Shuddh madhyam) and ones having Prati Madhyamam (in Hindustani, teevra madhyam). These 2 groups can be again divided into 12 groups/chakras (each of the 36 Raga group has 6 chakras). Each chakra is named and consists of 6 ragas. For example , the 4th chakra named Veda Chakra has the following 6 Ragas 1.Jhangaradhwani 2.Natabhairavi(Equivalent to Asaveri) 3.Keeravani 4.Kharaharapriya(equivalent to Kafi) 5.Gowri Manohari 6.Varunapriya. Each of the 6 parent ragas or Melakarta ragas have Shuddha Madhyamam and have Prati Madhyamam or Teevra madhyam counterparts Like Keeravani's teevra madhyam counterpart Simhendramadhyamam and Kharaharapriya's teevra madhyam counterpart Hemavathi . You can further research about these i.e; Melakarta ragas in Wikipedia. It is very interesting.
Tejas, No Keeravani falls into Veda Chakra in which , each Raga has Komal gandhar Shuddh Rishabh and Shuddh madhyam, each raga of the chakra has different Nishad and dhaivath
For example, the ragam Kalyana Vasantham has the following scale, Arohanam : S g m d N S Avarohanam : S N d p m g R S. This ragam is Janya of Keeravani.
There is something strange on that video: i'm trying to write down the patterns on paper from my phone: every time I open the screen again to continue copying, new patterns seem to apprear without me moving foreward or something! Seems like raags are always freshly played indeed!!!
You change the madhyam of Keeravani to Teevra madhyam , you will get the ragam Simhendramadhyamam. But the prayogas are different when compared to Keeravani.
Thank you soooooooo much.

In Raag Keerwani , Shudhdh Madyam is used. And we depict it as m and not M. We define M as teevra Madyam.
I hope it's clear to you
