6:54 O actually stands for Open-Source but I like yours better. 😄 Hi, I'm Tanuj, developer of Olauncher. Very happy to see that it made it to the top 10.
Thanks for making such a good and simplistic launcher, love it. It's one of 2 launchers I always recommend for my friends and colleagues when they got bored with their phone default launcher.
Nova is actually one man team now, been looking for replacement for while now but haven't find anything reliable with similar shortcuts and folders. Sad that they let the dev team go, been using it for over a decade now.
Aye, it takes some getting used to but once you are on it, you never leave it. Peoples watch me accessing my apps so fast with wonder on their tiny little minds lol😊
It's a shame Nothing don't release their Nothing OS launcher as a standalone product because it's pretty good. Nice and zippy, with lots of widgets, monochrome support and app folders that can have customised icons and be various different shapes and sizes. It's definitely my favourite OEM launcher.
I'm a Total Launcher guy. If I were to guess, right now I probably take advantage of about a tenth of its features, but I do have some customizations, and it's kind of incredible all the functionality you can cram into the interface.
@RishiKollabathina13 100% yes. they just act like an app on your phone and setting them as the launcher can be done in system settings, no work around required. Home screens on most androids are just apps set as the launcher in the first place.
My favorite launcher so far is the AIO launcher. Feels like minimalist and maximalist at the same time. You can just just what you want, where you want. Doesn't feel like a classic launcher, but I like it so much
@@josho1191 Sounds about right for Microsoft software! 😂 ... with Microsoft changing course to becoming an advertising company that collects user data I would be dubious about putting their software on my phone. @@macdonaldquarshie8557I use it on my s24 Ultra but not on my Tab S9 as when used in landscape the app and folder labels disappear which doesn't work for me.
I've never understood people complaining about apps cluttering up their homescreens. Don't they know your can remove them? You can even go into the settings and select "don't add new apps to the homescreen". You don't need a launcher to have a clutter free homescreen. That's why app draws exist. Surely it's quickest to swipe up than to do funky scrolling gestures that take longer too get apps you want
I need a launcher to fine tune gesture control (nova) and to customize my folders and to customize my app drawer and also to set the rows and columns on the home screen to be able to custom fit some widgets.
I've been using Nova Launcher Prime since at least 2013, and bought Nova Prime in December 2015 at the very reasonable price of INR 10 (that's US$ 0.12 lol). Tried to find a replacement sometimes, but the way I've customized it carries over so seamlessly to every one of my new devices that I've never felt I HAD to switch. Love Nova to bits, best 10 Rupees I ever spent tbh.
Well UncleSpurt, like you i spent many a fiddling hour with Nova, and then discovered Niagara, fell into her and have never left. Errm that didn't come out right in writing. I better drink that pint and forget that I wrote this...
I love Niagra launcher, I have tried total launcher but the weather not being able to be local for my location is a deal breaker for me, when all others work fine. Great Video as always.
My preferred launcher is Total Launcher, which is excellent for tablets. It's particularly great if you enjoy displaying your wallpapers with different gestures and unique clicks for opening apps or an app drawer window, which is also resizable for tablet use. It's just boring to use phone launchers on a such big screen, with all spaced out 5x5 icons on the entire screen.
Ahhhh launchers. I remember spending hours if not days trying to get the perfect setup. Eventually I just started using the default launcher because getting the “perfect” setup was such a pipe dream. I switched to iOS a few years ago and though I miss the customization, I appreciate the simplicity nowadays. And RIP to the Evie Launcher - I hope the dev teams socks are always slightly damp.
