It was at "Assembly", 2004, a large annual gaming and demo conference in Helsinki, Finland. Lots of fun! Amazing to see thousands of gamers simultaneously playing on their computers, non-stop, for several days.
@monkeyislandclub I totally feel you on that. I'm old school like you... Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge was my favorite. Still, Tales of Monkey Island is pretty awesome in my opinion--ESPECIALLY the storyline. Yes, I know it was a TellTale Games release, but still... I'm hoping they do another season of it. Without spoiling it for anyone who hasn't played it, the thing you have to do right near the end (if you know what I'm talking about) is...well... touching. And so true. ;)
Thank you for this!!! Their games are THE BEST
thanks for this!
An absolutely brilliant (and quite enlightening) trip down memory lane... Ahh.. the Lucasfilm days...

X-Wing! To this day X-Wing and Tie Fighter are still about as good as you can get for that genre of gaming.
I just posted the complete video on TH-cam (since you can now post videos longer than 10 minutes) - "LucasArts - The Early Years (Complete)"
