Hey I searched for this video because I have a short square and I want to transition into almond for the first time! I used to hate almond but now I feel like it looks more youthful… it’s gonna take a while for my nails to grow but this video was extremely helpful thanks! 😊
I 100% agree that the almomd shape prevents nails from breaking. At least, more than the square shape. I swear the almond shape makes polish last longer too 😂
Beautiful nails. I'm in the process of growing out damaged nails (did something REAL stupid that damaged them), and it's taking quite a long time to get a completely healthy nail. Will be so happy when they are strong again. For now, I've got square shaped shorties.

My nails break a lot less after switching over from square to almond. I don't know why that is!
